Chapter 6
“Honey wake up It's 1:30 pm You've been sleeping for 15 hours now honey, we came here to have fun not to sleep all day and miss the beauty of nature,” Dave says with a lovey-dove voice. “Mmh okay,” she says in a soft morning voice, batting against the blankets, she slips on a velvet pink robe her husband bought her on Valentine’s Day They both head to the cabin's kitchen, where they see a roach spreading its legs on the stove. “Uhg” Dave whispers hoping she didn't see that. “Let's uh go eat some… fruits! yes let's do that” They both start heading to the door, getting ready to go to this beautiful fruit path there is outside the cabin by the shore.
They both walk outside past the owner “Morning! Says Dave in an enthusiastic voice awaiting a response… but the owner does not respond; he just keeps walking and attending his own business. So he grabs a basket from the entrance and tries to forget that rude interaction that just happened.
leafs caressing one’s shoes, tall apple trees preparing shade, gorgeous strawberry cultivars, all red and with some weight to them as Dave starts plucking them placing them onto the basket, enjoying the moment of this rare beauty. But he begins to notice his wife is not enjoying as much she seems out of it, not appreciating her surroundings but he doesn't say anything just in case she's meditating.
tick tick tick
“What was that? Robbin flashes. “What was what, honey? Dave stops walking and turns to face his wife with a face of terror, she sees something he thinks. “I want to go back,” she states demanding they turn around right now. “Oh okay honey, do you want to go to the pool, hun? It might relax you a bit my love” She nods, she looks sick he thinks to himself, and too tired to talk right now. Dave tries to hold her hand, but she denies so he doesn't try again, he understands no means no.
