Eyes open, “A bad dream again huh?” says Dave to Robbin, “yeah” she replies with a tear in her eyes. “I'm sorry I know it's not much but we can enjoy our time here, far away from everything and anyone who can hurt you, my love,” Dave says looking at her dark and hollow eyes, “yeah” she continues. Robbin looks at Dave with puppy eyes and starts bawling her eyes out. “hey, hey, what's wrong my dear?” Dave asks with confusion but understands she's not in a good place. Robbins starts crying even more hysterically. Dave moves his body to be closer to her’s and continues “Here you are safe” He grabs Robbin's soft red face and caresses it with tender love. He slowly shifts his hands placing them on her warm neck, Robbin shouts and pushes him away, screaming and crying because there he is again, that faceless man grabbing her choking her, blood gushing from her mouth… She didn't expect to see him, not in her husband, no way my husband does not resemble him not even his body type, she thinks to herself, why would she see that? The mind is more powerful than you might think, it protects us, especially those who have experienced a traumatic situation.
