Marilou thought she was crazy. Completely maniac. She didn't feel mentally present. She couldn't stop her thoughts from wandering around, invading her deeply. In a murky and unexpected manner.
Yes she felt completely healthy. The young girl wasn't dreaming. Although she tried pinching her arm, blinking a few times and hitting her head, it didn't change anything. Except saying Ow.
Around her, a white room. The walls? White. There was completely nothing, and she was all alone. Her voice would echo against the wall, but nothing came to her. If she tried to speak louder, it would surely break her ears since the echo would come to her at that moment. Which wasn't a good idea.
Her breathing slowed down. Undoubtedly, Marilou was dead. The teen was breathing, but couldn't feel anything else, neither something reaching her skin. Her chest lifted with her breathing, but she barely felt it. She knew she was inhaling, but only because she wanted to convince herself that.
She was alone. Alone in this big world, white and wild where nobody could help her out. Without her brother and her family along with no friends with her, she felt her heart tearing apart. The young girl didn't have anyone to talk to, her breath catching in her throat as panic invaded her.
She didn't dare pronounce a single word nor move. All she could do was hoping. Hoping that one day someone could find her. Hoping that one day she'd see a loved one again in her lifetime. If she was still alive, obviously.
According to her, that was impossible. This room was a void, shaped like a cube. Nobody could enter this room without passing by the door. And yet the teen didn't see any doors around her, no issues.
Marilou wasn't afraid. Neither panicked. For an odd reason, the girl felt safe. She didn't feel like screaming for help. It would've been useless in the situation, considering nobody can help her out.
She was completely alone. Alone in this infinity room, a place where nobody would dare to step in neither encourage the existence of. Marilou had the control of her spirit, but not really her body, as she barely felt any sensations in this place.
It was odd, but not suffocating. At each other a new hour passed by in that lonely world, away from society, which was supposed to be in the manor. Time was long, undetermined. Obviously, she only had herself to bring her case to an end.
Where was she? Marilou didn't have a clue. All that she knew was that she was stuck in a white room with thick walls and no doors, where there wasn't any access. She based herself on her logic, naturally.
The young girl strolled around the place, thoughtful. Her azur eyes scrutinized the room with determination, seeking truth in this curious world. Instead of her old boots she wore in the mansion, she had socks on. Which was pretty special considering she didn't remember taking her shoes off.
Hearing the noice of something breaking, Marilou jumped in surprise and dropped a hand on her heart. Shifting towards the corner she thought she had heard something, she stood there in silence, waiting anxiously for something to happen.
What if this place was giving in to her illusions and her fears? What if nothing here was true? What if she was being played by an odd malicious force that wanted her anger and her pain? The thought Lilith could've betrayed her didn't cross her mind, but she knew it very well.
In front of her, a small girl. Delicate and gentle, with fragile traits. Her eyes were cognac coloured, a rare beauty. Her auburn hair were curled and fell to the middle of her chest, wavy bangs falling in front of her eyes.
Although that person looked quite short, she seemed to be about seventeen years of age. Her expression was wistful, yet she looked at Marilou in a way that she couldn't quite read her thoughts. Yet curiosity was visible within her traits. After a while, she cleared her throat.
- Are you stuck in this room too? I-I just arrived. She spoke quickly, looking away
The girl with the auburn hair shook her head, her expression becoming amused. She knotted her brows as she watched Marilou, a mocking look in her eyes.
- We're not alone here, you know. We're more than two in this... weird place. She affirmed proudly before smiling
Marilou frowned, puzzled. More than two people, locked up here? Were they all brought up there by Lilith, who betrayed them all? The teen decided not to ask, as it could've been a sensitive subject.
- Oh yeah? She questioned, skeptical at the thought
- Yes, it's great that you arrived, because we all need help! The girl exclaimed as she jumped happily
Suddenly, a group of children and elderly people walked in, all having different origins, some having similar traits to their neighbours. They all looked completely exhausted, but as they saw Marilou, their expression lightened. The girl was shocked to see that much people in one room, barging in from nowhere. They were at least twenty five!
- I'm Rebecca. What's your name? The cognac eyed girl asked, extending her hand
- Marilou.
The teen gripped Rebecca's hand tightly, glad that she made herself an ally.

A few hours later, Marilou learned to know the majority of the people in the room. There were some people that she wasn't sure certain to know the names of properly, but except that, everything was fine.
Yes, ignoring the fact that they were stuck in a room that they couldn't escape, without toilets. Fortunately, a boy named Matis reassured her at the thought that you could never be hungry, thirsty, sleeping or having to go to the bathroom, because it was your spirit and not your body.
If so, was the body filling its need up there? Marilou shuddered at the thought. When she'll come back in her body- if she does, would she come back and see herself that disgusting? Awful.
For a few hours, the girl tried to find a way to ask them a question. The only one, and the most important, that would surely save her from going crazy. Because yes, the teen started to feel a bit light headed, pulling out of a trance.
As her new friends were dancing around and partying, she thought it was the best moment to do so. The youngest approached an adult named Kiara, and patted her shoulder hesitantly. The concerned one looked at her, surprised.
- Can I ask you something? She ended up saying, feeling a bit embarrassed
Kiara arched a brow and nodded, leaning down to her level. Visibly, she was happy to be getting a question.
- Is there a way to get out of here?
