As the rain pours just outside the cave, Zeus and Hera approach the cave the Trio are hiding in, having followed Toro's scent to his location. Tyrannos wakes to the sound of footsteps heading towards the cave. Toro also wakes up and knows exactly who they are. Toro gruffs at Tyrannos, telling him to wake up Stera and Leonne. Tyrannos goes to wake up Stera and Leonne just as Zeus pokes his head into the cave, rain water dripping off his head. Upon realizing the group had nowhere to run, Zeus charges into the cave aiming for Leonne who hasn't fully gotten up. Toro intercepts and blocks Zeus' attack long enough for Leonne to join the old bull. Before Tyrannos and Stera could join, Hera bites down on Stera's tail and drags her away. Tyrannos knocks Hera away by biting down on her neck, freeing Stera. With the four of them separated, each one of the has Carcharovoltus that must be dealt with before leaving the cave.
Tyrannos and Stera focus their efforts on taking down Hera first. Hera slashes at Stera before biting down on Tyrannos' shoulder. Tyrannos fires his ice breath at Hera's leg, forcing her to let go just as Stera to shove the Carcharovoltus against the wall of the cave. This sparks an idea in their heads, force the cave to collapse. Stera uses her vines to grab Hera and slams her against the wall over and over again while Tyrannos fires his ice breath at Hera. In response, Hera fires a bolt of lightning out of her mouth to sever the vines and hits Stera with the bolt. Enraged, Tyrannos clamps his jaws against Hera's neck and slams her against the wall causing a stalactite to fall. The stalactite pins Hera down by piercing her leg. With Hera temporarily incapacitated, Tyrannos and Stera go to regroup with Leonne and Toro.
At the same time as Tyrannos and Stera's fight, Leonne and Toro confront Zeus and charge with full force. Zeus swats Toro away with his claws and bites down on Leonne's spine. He lifts the Inferno lion up into the air and delivers a large voltage of electricity before tossing him aside. Leonne slams against the wall with a loud thud, the impact breaking his left hind leg. Despite his injury, Leonne charges towards Zeus and sinks his claws into the theropod's right eye. Zeus shakes the lion off and charges up his claws for a devastating attack. Just then, Toro pushes Leonne away as the claws sink into his hide. Tyrannos and Stera could only watch as Zeus' claws sink into Toro and punctures his core. Toro begins to cough up blood from the injury as he is tossed aside. As Toro lies there, Zeus makes his way towards Leonne.
Tyrannos and Stera intervene to defend Leonne from the Carcharovoltus. Zeus, fed up with the constant interference, decides attack them with the same attack that tool down Toro. That's when Toro rams his horn into Zeus, pinning him against the wall. Toro proceeds to use what little ether he has left and summons vines and roots to tear the cave down. This immediately tells the Trio to leave the cave. As they leave, Hera bites down on Toro's neck from behind. All the Trio could do is watch as the cave collapses from the roots and vines Toro summoned. With the cave reduced to rubble, Tyrannos and Stera rush in hopes of finding Toro. They find Toro's lifeless body, his skin turning a dull gray as the ether leaves his body. Leonne knew nothing could have survived that but even he was sadden by Toro's passing. He gives Tyrannos and Stera time to mourn before reminding them of their goal. Tyrannos and Stera grieve for Toro before placing the rocks back on Toro's body. With the Carcharovoltus' seemingly dealt with, it's up to the Trio to find the herd and bring them to the plains, for Toro.
