MomOfThree: So, I’ve been doing some reading on TKs ever since Breaker saved us. I didn’t know much about them before, but now I’m kind of fascinated. What do you guys think about them?
VirtualKing23: TKs? They’re a mixed bag, I guess. Some of them use their powers for good, like Breaker, but others… well, we’ve all seen what happens when they snap.
SilverHawk: Yeah, Breaker’s one of the good ones. He’s always out there helping people. But I get why people are nervous around TKs. It’s a lot of power, and not everyone handles it well.
CivicMind: Power corrupts. You give someone that kind of ability, and eventually, they’re going to use it to get what they want.
MomOfThree: That’s kind of what I’m worried about. But then you have people like Mars. He’s this… beacon, you know? Everyone talks about him like he’s some kind of saint.
ConstructionJoe: Mars is different. He’s not just a TK; he’s a symbol. People see him, and they feel like there’s hope. He’s never hurt anyone, never even raised his voice.
VirtualKing23: Yeah, Mars is something else. The way he handles his powers, it’s almost like he’s not even human. Just… pure peace. You don’t see that much these days.
SilverHawk: That’s why the N.E.O. doesn’t mess with him. They don’t even know how to. You can’t fight someone who refuses to fight back, but also doesn’t do anything wrong.
MomOfThree: I get that. But it makes me wonder… if Mars is what TKs could be, then why are there so many who just cause chaos?
CivicMind: Because not everyone’s Mars. Most people, if they had that kind of power, they’d use it to make their lives easier. Or they’d snap under the pressure. It’s human nature.
ConstructionJoe: That’s why we’re lucky to have people like Breaker. He’s not Mars, but he’s doing good in his own way. Rebuilding the city, helping people when he can. We need that.
VirtualKing23: And then there’s Iron Knight. He’s not a TK, but he’s the only one who’s actually getting things done. It’s like he’s on a one-man mission to clean up the city.
SilverHawk: Yeah, but look at what it’s costing him. The N.E.O. is hunting him down now, branding him a terrorist. All because he tried to do what’s right.
MomOfThree: It’s so frustrating. Iron Knight is out there risking everything, and they’re treating him like a criminal. Meanwhile, the real criminals are the ones running the show.
CivicMind: That’s how it works. If you’re powerful enough, you can do whatever you want, and no one can touch you. But try to stand up to them? You’re the enemy.
ConstructionJoe: That’s why we need Mars, Breaker, and Iron Knight. They’re all fighting in their own ways, even if it’s not always enough.
MomOfThree: I just wish it didn’t have to be this way. Like, why can’t the city just… let them do their jobs? Why does everything have to be a fight?
SilverHawk: Because if things were that easy, the people in power wouldn’t be able to keep it. They thrive on chaos because it keeps us divided.
VirtualKing23: Maybe one day that’ll change. Maybe Mars or someone like him will find a way to bring people together. But for now, I guess we just keep hoping.
MomOfThree: Yeah… I guess we do.
