SilverHawk: Is it just me, or is the city… quiet tonight?
CivicMind: Yeah, I noticed that too. No sirens, no shouting. Almost feels… normal. Weird.
VirtualKing23: Right? It’s kind of nice, but also kinda creepy. Like the calm before the storm or something.
MomOfThree: I was thinking the same thing. Usually, there’s always something going on—protests, fights, TKs acting up. But tonight, it’s just… still.
SilverHawk: Maybe the N.E.O. finally cracked down hard enough that everyone’s scared to even make noise.
CivicMind: Or maybe they’re planning something. I don’t trust this city when it gets too quiet. Means something’s brewing.
VirtualKing23: Anyone heard from TeacherMom or Joe? I was hoping for an update on him.
MomOfThree: No, nothing. I was wondering the same thing. I hope everything’s okay.
CivicMind: They’re probably at the hospital. Dealing with… whatever’s next.
SilverHawk: Yeah, can’t imagine what they’re going through. I just hope Joe’s doing better.
MomOfThree: Me too. It’s so scary to think about losing a limb. How do you even recover from something like that?
CivicMind: You don’t. Not really. You learn to live with it, but it never goes away.
VirtualKing23: Damn, Civic. You’re really not holding back tonight, huh?
CivicMind: Just being honest. Sorry if it’s too much, but that’s how it is.
SilverHawk: I wonder if this quiet means things might finally settle down. Maybe the N.E.O. will ease off a bit. Let us breathe for once.
MomOfThree: I’d like to believe that, but… it’s hard to be optimistic these days.
VirtualKing23: Yeah. One quiet night doesn’t change the fact that everything’s still messed up.
CivicMind: True. But we can pretend, right? Pretend tonight is how things could be, if the city wasn’t so broken.
MomOfThree: I guess we can. I just hope it stays this way for a little longer. We could all use a break.
