«I really hope he will be careful ... he might be smart but his recklessness.. it’s rather concerning…»
Jeramiel looked through the gate, he swallowed down the unease and swiftly turned around. With closed eyes he exhaled deeply emptying out his lungs till only a small amount of air was left inside.
He glanced to the side, someone tried to contact him via telepathy.
<CONNECTION FORMED, ‘BOOKS ON FIRE’ ENTERED YOUR CHANNEL>
[Jeramiel, he will be fine. If my son possessed one ability he was more proficient in than any other Angeli then it is him hiding himself. If he absolutely doesn’t want to be found, not even Gabriel would be able to uncover his whereabouts.]
[Uriel… I appreciate your reassurance, but I cannot help but worry, after all that child….]
[Trust him. You are even more worried than I am and I am his mother!]
[...]
[Whatever. Go and finally change that Chanel name of yours.]
[How rude! As if I would-]
<CONNECTION TO GATEKEEPER LOST>
“Tss! He hung up on me!” A percussive groan escaped Uriel's throat. “Ahhhrghh This infuriates me! Yet he didn’t even question how I knew that he would let him descend… seems he grew tired of asking.”

On the other side of the heavenly Gate the tall Angeli prepared himself to enter human society. He couldn’t just appear with his usual white cloth attire. If he would then he would stand out like a Dahlia in a pile of daisies. Not only would he gain disdainful onlookers no he would probably be discovered by the guardians and directly sentenced for his actions. Not like he had done anything just yet.
Hibriel changed into some elegant light gray cloth pants paired with a bluish gray turtleneck and a white jacket with blue interior. He chose dark brown dress shoes and topped his fit with some light accessories. He tied his hair back into a ponytail and jumped from the clouds.
Wind blew past his slender figure and he approached the ground at a rather fast pace.
He was in fact falling to the ground.
His eyes widened in shock as he crashed into an Oak tree. Now he hung there face down, covered in small leaves. Fortunately he landed in a forest away from people. Winter was already at its end which made it a bit harder to spot him within this sea of trees —which was also very fortunate.
«Haaa… Well that didn’t quite go how I wanted… Now how do I get down?»
He wanted to shake himself down, to no avail. Then he tried to untangle his clothes from the branches which did partly work till he realized he was falling down and landed face first in the grass below while his jacket was still stuck on the oak. He rolled over and looked up through the branches observing the light blue sky.
“What a great start”, he chuckled.
Hibriel pulled his jacket down and gathered his belongings he took with him. He carefully checked if everything was still there, puzzled he looked at the portemonnaie inside his bag.
«That purse, I don’t remember taking it with me.»
Upon opening it he found a good amount of money and a short letter that read: «You will probably need some funds to allocate your stay within the mortal realm. I felt so free to put some of mine into this portemonnaie for you. You can thank this master of flames and collector of books later. ~ Signed: Uriel»
His peachblossom eyes were fixed onto that note for quite a while. It was rather hard to believe for him however with no doubt Uriel knew of his journey. Though what baffled him the most, Uriel just accepted it and let him leave, no she even supported his actions!
Shaking his head Hibriel crushed the paper and stuffed it back into his bag. Now all he had to do is figure out where he was.
He knew he jumped down in the direction of middle europe but which country exactly he landed in he did not know. So his first action was walking into whatever direction to hopefully come across a human settlement. So he walked and strolled around for hour after hour till dusk arrived. Now he stood there in the middle of nowhere on a small path; it stretched out in two directions seemingly as endless as the forest itself. Listlessness settled inside Hibriel’s mind and shortly after he sat down below a tree on the side. No matter where one looked, all you could spot were trees upon trees, some with needles, some with leaves and others with buds. Truly a frustrating situation if you didn't know where you were.
Hibrel felt dejected, actually he wanted to travel around a bit although that plan fell into cold water. All he could do now was resting in the wilderness and hoping to find a way out of this woody situation tomorrow.
