She's already unhappy with me for not giving her and Mari the glorious happily-ever-after they are MORE than entitled to.
YET, Bisi! YET. It's coming, I promise! I got you 90% of the way there, I'm good for the other 10%, I swear!
There are around 50 more chapters of Bisi & Mari that are already written, and all of those chapters AND the missing ending WILL be available if you hop over to the book's new home, my Patreon, sometime around March 2025. You'll be able to finish it there AND read a prettier, sexier polished-up version of it. I'll come back to announce it here when the final chapters are written and posted.
Depending on how fast you read, it’ll cost you a whole three dollars 😱😱😱. For that same three dollars, however, you'll also be able to read Raph & Yuko, Bisi & Mari, Free Will, Free Love, and HQ. They’ll be joined by a brand new fifth book, Free Fall, this summer (although that will be in the $5 tier)!
Patreon is easy to use. While it’s a subscription-model site, it’s very easy to limit what you pay there. Join as a free member—that gives you access to Free Love. When there is other content that you want to read (like this book), join the tier that contains it (the $3 tier), read to your heart’s content over the next month, then drop back down to free with a couple of clicks—no phone calls, no customer service reps, no fuss, no additional monthly charges. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. If you want to support monthly, by all means do that, but if you don't or can't... No harm, no foul. Your $3 will offset my expenses and motivate me to keep going.
Why have I done this lousy thing? Why did I take the rest of the story down? It wasn’t my first choice, trust me. It also wasn’t the money. I got kicked around pretty good by Tapas for the better part of a year before I decided I’d had enough. If you want the whole story, there’s a link in the author’s note. If you are planning to publish on Tapas, it’s probably worth a read.
So, give me a little time to get the other books gussied up and posted (this one is last in line by virtue of chronology), maybe entertain yourself by rereading the new versions of them while you wait, then put on something red and come read Bisi & Mari's happy ending.
