Troubled teen industry survivor here lol, this is low key how it usually was for kids that *voluntarily* went. It’s interesting cause the company makes itself appear to be very helpful and even a savior, and somehow more trustworthy with your child than their parent, the kids who happily go end up not having fun later on and slowly realizing what kind of place it is. It’s only the first chapter but in a way it’s comforting to read because it makes me feel like my experiences aren’t non-existent or invisible at all. Thanks :)
