The characters wake up in separate rooms the following morning. The mansion is silent, the kind of eerie silence that sends shivers down their spines. Everything feels unfamiliar and unsettling, but they are in too deep to back out now.

The first thing they notice is a neatly folded note on the desk in each of their rooms, with the same handwriting as the previous invitation.

Note (reading aloud):
"Your first test begins at 9:00 AM. Be ready."

They exchange glances as they meet in the grand hallway. The group feels a mixture of nerves and excitement, knowing that today will bring something unexpected.

They gather in the dining room, where Blackjack and Mrs. Wilde are waiting. The air is thick with tension.

Blackjack:
"You’ve all come this far. Now, we’ll see if you can handle what’s ahead. This test will measure your resilience, your adaptability, and your ability to work under pressure."

Mrs. Wilde (smiling coldly):

Blackjack’s piercing gaze sweeps over them all, lingering just a moment too long on Mia.

Blackjack:

Scene 2: Mia’s Test

Mia stands in a large, empty room, the walls lined with screens displaying cryptic numbers, images, and text. There’s a chair in the center of the room, a table with papers scattered across it, and a single light illuminating the area.

Her heart races, but she sits down at the table, trying to steady her breath. On the papers, there are complex equations and a series of moral dilemmas, each question harder than the last.

Mia (thinking):
"This is it. I have to prove myself. I’ve got this."

She starts working through the equations, but as the minutes pass, she realizes something is off. The answers don’t make sense, and the moral dilemmas seem to be designed to test her integrity. Each choice feels like it could push her closer to compromising her values.

Blackjack (smiling slightly):

Scene 3: Jack’s Test

Next, it’s Jack’s turn. He’s led down a dark, narrow hallway until he reaches a locked door. When it opens, he finds himself facing a large arena, surrounded by walls of thick glass. Inside, a group of actors stands in a circle, facing him.

Jack:
"What is this? A game?"

The actors are emotionless, standing still. A speaker comes to life.

Voice from the speaker:
"Jack Reynolds, you are being tested on your ability to lead. You will need to guide these individuals to safety. They are under your command. But there’s a catch—some of them will sabotage you."

Jack glances around, analyzing the situation. It’s a trap. The actors start to move toward him, but some of them act strangely, trying to push him off course.

Jack (muttering to himself):
"Okay, think. Stay calm. Lead them like I would in a team."

Jack quickly identifies the actors who are trying to manipulate him. He calls them out, using his wit to break their attempts to derail him. It’s hard, but he keeps pushing forward, making decisions that will keep the group together.

At the end, he looks at the speaker, exhausted but satisfied with himself.

Voice from the speaker:
"You led well, Jack. But next time, expect to face more difficult choices."

Scene 4: Ariana’s Test

Ariana is taken to a lavish room filled with intricate, colorful canvases. Brushes and paints are scattered around the space, but there’s a deadline: She has one hour to create a piece of art that captures her true essence.

Ariana (thinking):
"This is my moment. This could be the break I need."

But the pressure mounts quickly as she stares at the blank canvas. She starts painting quickly, throwing colors onto the canvas without much thought. Her hand moves feverishly, but it’s not working. The painting looks like chaos. Her mind is too clouded with doubts, her fear of failure overwhelming.

After several attempts, she hears a soft voice behind her. It’s Mrs. Wilde, observing quietly.

Mrs. Wilde (softly):
"Why are you holding back, Ariana? Your true self is inside you. Why don’t you let it show?"

Ariana pauses. She stands in front of the canvas, breathing deeply. Slowly, she begins to paint with more intention, letting the brushstrokes flow freely. The chaos starts to take form—a reflection of her inner conflict, her hopes, and fears.

When the clock hits zero, she steps back. The painting isn’t perfect, but it’s raw, it’s real.

Mrs. Wilde:
"Well done, Ariana. You’ve learned that sometimes, the best art comes from vulnerability."

Scene 5: Leo’s Test

Leo is led into a dimly lit room where a series of laser grids block the path to a door on the other side. The grid seems impossible to cross without triggering an alarm. A voice from a speaker echoes in the room.

Voice:
"Leo Johnson, you’ve been chosen for your agility. You must navigate these lasers and reach the door in under five minutes. Fail, and you’ll be eliminated."

Leo scans the room, analyzing the lasers’ movements. He crouches, thinking about the best way to get through without triggering the alarms. With precision and quick reflexes, he begins to move, twisting and sliding through the laser grid like a dancer. Sweat beads on his forehead, but his focus is unshakable.

When he finally reaches the door, he doesn’t waste time. He bursts through, hearing the alarm blare behind him, but it’s too late. He made it.

Voice:
"Impressive, Leo. But don’t get comfortable. The next test will push you even further."

Scene 6: The Reveal

After all the tests, the group reconvenes in the dining room, each of them feeling drained but victorious. Blackjack and Mrs. Wilde are waiting for them.

Blackjack:
"You’ve completed your first test. Each of you has faced a challenge that tested your limits. But this was only a small part of what’s coming. There will be harder tests, deeper secrets, and more dangerous choices to make."

He pauses, letting the weight of his words settle.

Blackjack (cont’d):

Mrs. Wilde:
"Now, your real journey begins."
