The big reveal is Jack's personal new weapon! And it has a few functions. When the eye is black, it's on idle mode, meaning it can be carried around without doing damage to him or anyone else. It's currently in guitar mode, which have a shockwave effect, and the power is adjustable on the knobs down at the tongue. And it has a sword mode when it's closed, which will be revealed later in the story.
It can only use one or the other in combat, not both for obvious reasons, or he'd cut his arms off.
