Heyyy, so this is a sorter page than usual, but it's been... Two years since the last page. Sorry about that, college had really kicked up, but now I've graduated! So, hopefully this means that I can dedicate a bit more time to this series and Aventurine, as I have a lot planned for the future. ;)
So, this is only just exposition, but I also wanna use this as an opportunity to explain some bits of world building that aren't important or relevant to Gwen's story and some of the references here.
I tried to find some canon characters that could speak to Pokemon besides N, who will of course be the poster-boy of the ability, but I only found MAYBE Valerie. As for May and the Mew, I actually got a pre-owned copy of Emerald and I intend on trying to hunt for that shiny, hence Dots and Pluses. The previous owner REALLY did so much though. D+P had already been cloned, there's a shiny Jirachi among other shinies, both traded and caught, and "Bruno" had glitched in all the tickets... Except for Mew's. Anyway, in this universe, this May is actually the rival while the Hoenn Champ will be Bruno, because I don't intend on a Hoenn Nuzlocke. As for the Zors... I felt that this species was the best to use to represent the Divide, as they are critically endangered or extinct in most regions as a direct consequence (They were recently introduced to Melemele, Alola due to a careless exchange student). In Unova, they're officially declared extinct in the wild, but there are 2 remaining siblings who were native born and currently belong to 1 of 2 trainers. 1 belongs to the current Unova Champ, who is also a well known Pokestar Studio actress alongside her twin brother, while the other is considered missing along with his trainer, who was last seen searching for Unova's Lost Champion.
The Zorua pictured in this page was their mother.
See you guys next time! There's only 2 more pages until this introduction is over and we can FINALLY LEAVE THIS LA-
Follow Guinevere "Gwen" Shirokane on her journey through Sinnoh, with her two friends and her growing team of Pokemon. Of course, nothing can ever be simple, as she receives a gift from the local lake spirit Pokemon, which comes with the price of raising the stakes in battle...
