It only took Bobby and Hannah five minutes to reach the building where they’d seen Theifblin. However, when they arrived, they were greeted with a strange sight. The door had already been pried open, and Theifblin was nowhere to be seen. They felt as if they were looking at one of those holographic puzzles.
Despite this oddity, they didn’t become deterred when it came to going inside. Bobby and Hannah ran through a dim hallway lined with doors. The building seemed highly strange, partly because they had never been inside it before, but mainly because it seemed so unusual with so many doors.
Eventually the hallway ended its straight path and continued on a ninety-degree angle. That’s where Bobby and Hannah found an intriguing sight. They caught a glimpse of Theifblin before he headed into one of the rooms. “Why would he go in there?” asked Bobby. “Beats me,” replied Hannah. Both of them ran into the room to see what Theifblin was up to.
“Y … YOU? How did you get out of that car wreck?” asked Theifblin with confusion and disbelief in his voice. Hannah answered confidently. “Let’s just say, I got some help,” she said, putting her hand on Bobby’s shoulder. Bobby smirked.
Just then, Theifblin opened up his stone bag and started filling it with valuables. The room had various antiques, jewels, and other things. Most of them looked like harmless relics. Bobby and Hannah tried to stop Theifblin. But if that didn’t work the first time, there was a very low chance it would work during a second attempt. One of the relics Theifblin stole was highly unusual. It appeared to be a black gauntlet with a yellow gemstone on it. It also appeared to have a yellow crystal-like blade poking out of it. Before Theifblin was able to store the relic in his bag, Hannah pulled out her phone and took a photo of the relic. The image was a bit out of focus, but not to the point where everything seemed like a multicoloured blur.
After being the star of his unwanted photoshoot, Theifblin ran out of the room and ran right through the narrow corridor. Bobby and Hannah were right behind him, not doing much other than investigating his actions. Usually, interfering with a criminal’s plan is a good thing to do, but considering everything Bobby and Hannah had gone through today, running along just to watch was the best thing they could do.
Theifblin reached the end of the hallway and hastily exited the building. He jumped through the closed window and landed on the ground below. Shards of glass were scattered across the building floor and the pavement. Theifblin ran to the other side of the road and made what appeared to be a signal. Shortly after, Cite, Scorpius, General Slithera and Nocturus came to him. Theifblin appeared to be speaking, but Bobby and Hannah couldn’t make out his words from so far away.
“Alright, we got what we came here for,” announced Theifblin, as he showed the unusual relic to the other Maioura Generals. “Let’s head back.” Theifblin walked out of Fluvaria with the other generals following him. The other stone warriors followed their superiors.
After being beaten mercilessly by the Maioura, the Braw Agents were glad to see them leave. However, there were still so many questions the Braw Agents had, regarding what they had witnessed today. “Guys, I saw something really weird,” announced Hannah, as she ran towards the other Braw Agents. Narvy, Edward, Rita and Elsa were all tired from their mass beatings, but they still had enough energy to care about Hannah’s news. “What did you see?” asked Narvy, with great interest.
Hannah took out her phone and navigated through her password. “Well, I was with Bobby, and we went into some kind of facility,” explained Hannah, while she was searching through her photos. “Interesting,” commented Edward. It took multiple rounds of gallery swiping to find the photo, but she eventually found it. “When we were in the facility, we found this,” explained Hannah, as she showed them the image. Despite the blurry nature of the photo, the other Braw Agents were still able to make out the object. A black gauntlet with a yellow gemstone and yellow blade. “What is that?” asked Rita. “I have no idea,” replied Hannah. “I don’t even know why that goblin would want it.” “By the way, where’s Bobby?” asked Elsa. “He should be here shortly,” answered Hannah.
Just as Hannah said that Bobby arrived. Almost like Hannah had summoned him. “Hi, did Hannah tell you about what we found?” asked Bobby. “Are you talking about that gauntlet?” asked Narvy. “Yes,” replied Bobby. For a short while, Bobby allowed some thoughts to simmer in his head. Then he opened his mouth, and a question flew out.
“Did you guys think forming a team to stop an evil threat was a good idea?” asked Bobby. “Yeah, why?” asked Hannah. “I don’t know, it’s just that today didn’t go well,” explained Bobby. “We all just got beaten up, and we didn’t even come close to stopping any threat.” Hannah understood where Bobby was coming from, but she went on to express her opinion. “Bobby, I think your idea was great. After all, nobody wants their home to be destroyed.” “True, but we didn’t really stop any threat,” said Bobby. Hannah replied to Bobby with a counter argument. “At least we made an attempt, let’s be proud of that.” “Thanks Hannah,” replied Bobby. “I feel a lot better now.”
Even with his negative thoughts disproven, Bobby still had another question on his mind. One that he must ask the other Braw Agents. “Should we continue being the Braw Agents?” he asked. “Yeah, we should,” answered Narvy. “Wait, really?” asked Bobby with a genuine sense of surprise. “Yes, we thought your idea of a crime-fighting team was cool,” replied Edward. Rita expanded upon Edwards point. “If we didn’t like your idea, we wouldn’t have changed our plans for today at the last minute, just to join your team.” At that point, Bobby was speechless. That was until he opened his mouth and freed a reply from his vocal cords. “Wow, thank you so much.” “No problem,” Elsa commented with sincerity.
Bobby’s concerns may have been disproven, but there was still an unexplained mystery regarding today’s incident. “Hannah?” asked Narvy “Are you still curious about that black and yellow object?” “Yes, I am,” replied Hannah. “I just have so many questions about it.” She then rambled on and spewed everything out of her mind. “I don’t know why that goblin wants it, or why it was lying in a random building, or what it even is, or—” Narvy interrupted her. “Hannah, calm down, we can find the answers together.” Narvy’s statement intrigued Hannah. “Alright. How are we going to do that?” she asked. “I have an idea,” explained Narvy. “How about we go to the Trooth Booth tomorrow?”
The Trooth Booth is a place in HighQ LowC with a mixed reputation. Some people believe it’s a useful service for gathering information, while others believe it’s an idiotic hoax. Many people go there every year since it’s the one place where you can find the answers for everything.
“Narvy?” asked Bobby. “Would we get anything out of that place?” Bobby never thought about the Trooth Booth much, however, he did find the idea of a service with the answers to everything unrealistic. “Well, it’s worth a shot,” explained Narvy. “Alright, I don’t have any other ideas, so I’m down,” replied Bobby. Hannah was eager to unravel the mystery behind her discovery, so of course she was going to join in. Edward, Rita, and Elsa also agreed to visit the Trooth Booth. “Alright, what time should we go to the Trooth Booth?” asked Hannah. “How about we all meet at HighQ LowC at 10 am tomorrow?” suggested Bobby. This idea sat well with Narvy, Hannah, Edward, Rita, and Elsa. The Braw Agents settled on the idea of visiting the Trooth Booth at 10 am.
Despite the fact it was only the afternoon, the Braw Agents were beyond tired. The continuous beatings and violence had really got to them. “I’m going home, see you tomorrow,” announced Bobby, as he walked away. Shortly after, the other Braw Agents split up and left the city. Everyone was headed towards the Fluvarian suburbs. Bobby had no idea what his friends were going to do for the rest of the day, but he assumed that they were going to do the same thing as him – rest, relax and recharge – take the rest of the day easy and get a good night’s sleep that night. Then the sun would rise, and the Braw Agents could unravel the mysteries behind the artefact they’d found.
20 years ago, a man named Harold was framed for a murder. Now he seeks revenge on his hometown Fluvaria. Upon hearing the news, a teenage boy named Bobby gathers his friends and forms a crime-fighting team. Will it be enough to stop the threat?
