This one's gonna need some explaining.
In Norwegian, we have an expression about meeting oneself at the door, which means to "be confronted with previous attitudes, statements etc. now being disapproved by oneself" (from Kunnskapsforlaget Norsk-engelsk ordbok). So essentially, the imagery at the end, signifies that Roy is now getting in his own way because of what he previously did.
