Alexander was dragged to a room Bella ordered them to strip him down to his underwear and placed a bag over his head then ordered the butlers to hold him until his entrance was announced “Sorry to ruin our birthday for you brother but I can't have you stepping out of line” she said as she went to go to the ballroom where the twins birthday was going on as she made her grand entrance.

Alexander struggled to get free from the butler's grasp they held on tighter, bruising his arms. “Stop struggling you bastard,” one of the butlers said, tightening his grip as they stood by the servant's entrance waiting for the moment.

The ballroom was decorated extravagantly however it was decorated for only Bella, the cake was just Bella’s favorite flavor and all the decorations were just in Bella’s favorite colors but this was how all their birthdays went Bella was the star and Alexander was just an afterthought he was just paraded around to make Bella look good.

Lord Oswald stood at the center of the room “Ladies and gentlemen I like to thank you all for attending my daughter…..and my son's birthday” he said grumbling out the last part.

Bella stood next to her father as she smiled “O Thank you, father but where is Alexander I sent Ms. Pinch to retrieve him” she said as she placed a hand on her cheek faking concern for her brother this started a murmur amongst the people there wondering where the failure of the hunt could be at it wasn't like he was away studying, or off adventuring. 

Lord Oswaled looked annoyed that his son would not ruin his precious Bella’s big day “Nevermind him Bella let's just continue the celebration” he said.

Bella shook her head “No father today is Alexander’s special day as well so I won't celebrate without him” she said as she crossed her arms and pouted the room now echoed with whispers about how sweet and kind Lady Bella is.

That was when the butlers shoved Alexander into the ballroom and shut the door behind him, holding it so Alexander couldn't get back in when the guests noticed him. Women shrieked and the men began insulting Alexander calling him a pervert. Lord Oswald stormed over and kicked Alexander in the stomach “You disgrace who dare you make a fool out of me and how dare you ruin your sister's big day” he said as he went in for another kick but Bella stopped him “Father please stop Alexander isn't well please show mercy on him” she said as looked at him.

Alexander was on the ground clutching his stomach as a bruise started to form on his stomach from the kick people crowded around them all of them were talking about how kind and merciful lady Bella was and how surly she would be the next light mage and the bride of Prince Damian. 

Alexander clenched his fist after hearing this ‘What a joke Bella kind if she's the next light mage then I'll be the next king’ he thought

The murmuring went quiet as the people's attention changed as the white wisp flew into the ballroom the people stared at it as it flew towards Bella who looked overjoyed but at the last moment the wisp dove down and hit Alexander in the chest knocking the wind out of him as a white halo appeared over his head everyone stood there in quite shock except for Bella's who started to tear up as her face turned red and she stamped her foot “It's not fair, it's not fair, IT'S NOT FAIR WHY IS ALEXANDER THE LIGHT MAGE HE CAN'T EVEN DO MAGIC WHY, WHY, WHY” she screamed breaking down in a full blown tantrum.

Ms. Pinch and Lord Oswald tried to calm her down as the party guests stayed quiet shocked at the scene they had never seen Lady Bella act like that then there was a sudden gasp as someone entered the ballroom prince Damian entered the ballroom he had a pair of black horns appear out of his hair.

He locked eyes with Alexander ‘Is this really who I'm destined to be with this weakling he thought as he walked over to Alexander he knelt placed a hand under his chin and looked at him.

Alexander locked eyes with Damian as he smirked at him “I'm guessing I'm not what you were expecting” he said.

The prince looked at him with an eyebrow raised “No you're not but we can't change that now” he said as he took his cape off and wrapped a cape around him then turned to leave “Come” Damian called over his shoulder.

Alexander struggled to get to his feet “I have trouble walking without my cane” he said as he followed after the prince at a slower pace. Damian sighed as he stopped walking and turned around as he picked Alexander up carrying him bridal style “Whoa hey I can walk I just need some time” he said.

Damian rolled his eyes “I don't have time to wait for you to limp behind me, it'll be easier if  I carry you so keep quiet” he said coldly.

Alexander sighed as he crossed his arms, his face turning light pink. He was embarrassed even if he had trouble walking. He was still a man and he had some pride.

Bella rushed over and grabbed Damian by the back of his shirt “No this isn't right I'm supposed to be the light mage, im supposed to marry you, not Alexander, me, not him me” she said throwing another tantrum.

Daman rolled his eyes unimpressed by the spoiled girl “Apparently not” he said as she shook Bella off harshly knocking her to the ground as he continued to exit the Hunt household.
