Chapter 19.
Z.-¿ Don't you know that faith without works is dead?
G.- What I ask of you is not something you cannot fulfill, because I do not want sight if my father does not walk.
Z.- Even if the load is heavy, I will carry it for you Gurab, because that is what makes a man a warrior.
You decide if you want to be a coward or a warrior; the scale is on your side; you only have to manage to stabilize your emotions with your duties, because we made a deal and I always keep my deals...
Some men seem like children, most of them being novices; very few of them have war experience, however, they have a common denominator, an adjective that makes them at some point exactly the same and that is that they have a motto of honor, that is, if you want to be a legend or if you want to be a coward.
G.- Powerful is Madam Zahyir, I promise to follow you even if the night is thicker and darker and I cannot light the way; I promise to guide you through the shadows, because my blindness allows me to feel everything around me more acutely.
Z.- I smiled at what I had just heard and knew that I should try to help him, but I did not know if I would succeed, so I took my spear and pierced his heart; his father in the distance saw how his only son had been pierced by my spear; then, I withdrew the spear and filled his wounds with sand, while his disconsolate father did nothing but cry, which was good for me, so I approached him and gave him a jug so that he could shed his tears in it; therefore, the poor old man obeyed my orders and once he filled the jug with tears I emptied it into Gurab's wound.
I lit my eyes and buried him in the Sand; I took out my sword and buried it where the young man's corpse was and I began to meditate in front of my buried sword while I listened to the moans of the Elder, but I could not let that disturb me, so I left him unconscious so I could treat his son's eyes; and when I managed to connect with him, his brain was still trying to stabilize the situation and he did not know whether to accept that he was dead or that I was inside his mind; I had to guide him to the darkness and leave him alone; let him manage to see in his own darkness, because he was not an ordinary human, since he was probably a Hybrid and did not know it, so I had to wake him up and help him get out of the shadows.
Z.- You have to get out of your dense darkness, open your eyes, leave your blindness and return to your father because you must not die, you have to live and fight by my side, walk to where I am.
G.- It is not easy Zahyir, it is very dark in here.
Z.- Use your other senses, take off the blindfold that doesn't let you see, stabilize a pattern of day and night and let your interior reflect the order that you must follow.
G.- Don't leave me alone Zahyir, don't abandon me.
Z.- I will wait for you at the end of the road Gurab, when you manage to open your eyes I will be waiting for you to wake up, I will never leave you alone again; now I feel responsible for you, I will not leave you.
Thus the young man continued to struggle to find a way out of his darkness and trying to take off the blindfold from his eyes, but he couldn't and his mind screamed at him that he shouldn't; fear, uncertainty, panic, lack of courage ¿ or was he just fooling himself?....
Z.- He is a boy who doesn't know his complicated relationship between truth and lies, possibly his blindness is temporary because in his mind he wanted it that way, so only he himself can save himself from his fears and I can only wait for him to wake up to see what is real now.
As the wind blows sand and uncovers his lifeless body, an Aura begins to emanate from my body that brings with it a sandstorm, which covers our bodies up to the waist, preventing us from moving from that place.
Gurab, you must wake up right now and accept your destiny of life or death; remember that everyone has the same cycle to complete, but only a few decide to be remembered for great deeds; we cannot tell the absolute truth about everything we are, nor about what we do wrong or right, nor what prevents us from leaving the shadows in which we could find ourselves tied to an eternal solitude that compromises our freedom.
G.- Zahyir, the cold wind of death is passing before my eyes; it acts as such because it is cold; it tells me to cry if I need to; I tell it that I am fine, but it asks me if I am hiding behind it.
Suddenly, Gurab threw away the bandage that blinded him and saw that his blindness was not darkness, but fear of the unknown, so he ran to freedom, which he thought he saw in the form of a woman with her back turned as if she were waiting for me.
After generations with her imposing warrior figure, you could say that she is the light to my darkness; Zahyir is that Light that fades before my eyes and makes me travel back to life, letting me see that I am under a bed of sand from which I try to get out, but it is heavy and does not let me breathe, it does not let me feel, perhaps it will not let me see again, but it is a sword pulled with such force that it pushes me out of the sand and lets me see the light of day and with it the face of my father and the strength of this woman who kept her word giving me back my life without us even having fulfilled our part of the deal.
Z.- I told you that I would not leave you behind Gurab, I will not leave you alone ever again.
Now you choose whether you want to be a coward among the shadows or a warrior who fights for the truth.
G.- I have no words left to explain this moment and I only want to stay by your side to learn everything from You Zahyir and for you to be the Light on my path forever.
ABU.- I am old and cannot walk, but Zahyir, you have shown me your loyalty to this servant and although I cannot fight or walk, my son will be able to guide you to Templo of RA.
I am old and tired from the platform of life, but he is young and now has his sight back, please let me rest in this place and allow him to accompany you to your destiny.
So, we continued our way to the Temple of Userkaf, which we found without looking for it and without asking he found us himself; so, we ran with all our strength, but it only seemed to be the ruins of the temple.
However, the details of its surroundings resemble a landing strip; and as if it were a sign, Gurab found an inscription whose meaning he did not understand on the ground of the place, but I immediately understood what it said.
G.- Zahyir, you have to look at this writing, it seems to be very old, but it remains intact.
Z.- You are right Gurab, that is ancient Egyptian and it means that: its highest point will reveal the Path of Light.
G.- ¿Is it the point by which we have to climb a pyramid?
Z.- I don't think so, he is the God of the Sun and he has to refer to the strongest point of the sun, that is, we must wait for the sun to burn more and reveal the correct path to us.
G.- ¿Can't we just apply water on these ruins to see if they hide something else?
Z.- Okay, move away a little Gurab, I'm not responsible if I hurt you.
I took my fists and revealing my armor, I began to order my blood to flow, but this time it had to burst into water, I couldn't shed blood in a temple because I'm not doing a pagan cult.
I immediately began to feel my heartbeat and how my body was sweating; my eyes shone and from my armor flowed an immense wave of water that enveloped the ruins of the temple reflecting the light that would take us to RA, but the water also reflected a hidden message:
"Above is below, high is not low and it flows like the sand inside me."
G.- ¿You have to be joking Zahyir.
Z.- ¿When have you seen me joke about this? We have to take down Gurab, since it is inside that he is, this is not a ruin, but a door.
G.- ¿What will we do?
Z.- You do nothing, I will do everything.
I began to bury Daggers in the sand and placed my tiara right in the center of the ruined temple and it began to tremble feeling the sand devour us.
G.- I am afraid of what is happening.
Z.- Let yourself be guided Gurab, it is in vain to fight.
