Lee looked surprised as he watched him disappear down the hall. He sat down on the floor of the bedroom and put his head in his hands. You're so selfish Lee thought it wasn't your place to demand he tell you that and now look what you've done. After a few minutes Cypress came back and walked in. Lee stood up and reached towards Cypress. Hey I'm sorry I shouldn't Lee started. Fuck off Cypress said ignoring him. Lee stopped and pulled away. W-wait what he thought confused. It got dark eventually and they had fallen asleep. When the sun lit the sky Lee got up and found himself alone. He looked around the hall and in the bathroom but couldn't find Cypress so he went downstairs. Lee found Michael and his family working in the kitchen. Good morning Lee said where's Cypress. He left last night Michael's wife said he told us not to wake you. Shit Lee said thanks for the food and letting us stay but I have to go after him. Oh alright you're welcome she said. Lee ran out the door and through the woods in the direction he and Cypress had been heading the day before. Come on he thought please still be nearby.
Cypress was tired to the point of just dropping unconscious. He'd been running all night because he wanted to get as far away from Lee as possible. He didn't need him. Cypress kicked the nearest tree to his left out of anger. That son of a bitch thinks he can get whatever the fuck he wants Cypress said to himself well that's not how life works dumbass. He sighed and sat down just to fall immediately asleep. He wasn't sure how long it had been since he'd fallen asleep but he woke up to the sound of his name being called. Fuck Cypress sighed as Lee barreled out of the woods and into the small clearing where Cypress was now standing a glare on his face. Why'd you leave Lee asked worriedly. Doesn't matter you followed me here so let's go before I change my mind again just don't talk to me. It was silent for hours and Lee kept feeling worse and worse about everything he'd said to him. Can we please just talk ab... Lee started to say before they both stopped. There was another small town ahead but there was a large crowd of people in the center. What is going on Lee asked. Cypress ignored him and walked into the crowd. Oh okay Lee sighed as he followed him. Everyone was to distracted by the thing in the center of the crowd to notice Cypress. Which was only partially a good thing. Cypress shoved people out of the way till he managed to see what everyone was looking at. In the middle of the crowd was a fairy who's left wing was torn leaving them unable to fly. They had dark red straight hair and gold eyes which matched their golden wings. Lee was watching the fairy try to dodge the rocks and things being thrown at them. He wanted to help but didn't want to get involved. Maybe if I help them Cypress will talk to me Lee thought looking over at Cypress standing beside him.
In a world where supernatural beings are exterminated or experimented on, a human unwillingly teams up with a strange creature who claims he's a god.
(minimal punctuation, btw the first half of this novel is very old it gets better, pls excuse the typos, most of the mature episodes are either for blood or strong language)
