Daylight shimmered across the town, according to Mister Ram, the quaint town was known as Chimedale, it was a cute little place.
Well, despite the corpses of wolves- well, Moon Things being skinned and pelted.
They were a resourceful people nonetheless, kicking her legs back and forth, Clover sat near a well as she watched Mister Ram ask around.
After another unsuccessful trip, he walked back. “Nobody’s seen you before…it’s pretty strange.”
Leaping up, Clover grabbed his ears again as her other hand scratched behind his ear. “That’s okay.”
Mister Ram’s face flushed as he squirmed. “You can’t be doing that! I-I’m not used to getting pet it feels weird!”
But she didn’t listen, no matter how much he struggled to escape, she just kept petting him.
I feel like some pet!! He thought as he took a deep breath when she stopped, distracted by the giant pelt.
“Oh, that's one Sabrina hunted.” He said, his eyes sparkled.
“Sabrina?” Clover asked as he began to gesture.
“Yeah! She’s one of the huntsman’s finest hunters!” His eyes twinkled as Clover giggled, he was adorable and soft and- SHE CAN'T HELP HERSELF.
Lunging at him, she toppled him, scratching behind his ears, under his chin, his neck, all while he squirmed around, his ears twitching.
“W-what have I told you!” He muttered as he closed his eyes, trying to escape her grasp.
“Rolling on the floor? That’s a new one.” A stern feminine voice said as the two looked over to see a tall, dark-haired woman with sharp eyes.
“Sabrina! I thought you were gone!” Mister Ram said, quickly pulling them both up as he dusted the dirt off his cloak and fidgeted.
A pout appeared on Clover's face as she looked up at Sabrina, how dare she steal Mister Ram's attention.
She didn’t even seem all that strong, sure her demeanor was cool, and she was very pretty, and that’s when it hit her.
Gasping, Clover looked at Sabrina’s chest, and then her own.
“That’s not playing fair!” Clover said, a pout on her face as she looked up at Sabrina.
“You can’t have big titties and a big hunt!” Pointing her finger, Clover huffed as Mister Ram almost choked.
Going to muffle her mouth, she ran off before he could, yelling. “I’ll get a bigger one to impress you, Mister Ram!”
“Please specify and no!!” He said, his face blooming red as panic settled in and he chased after her.
Why is she so fast?! And weird and- PLEASE JUST BE NORMAL.
Running after her, she was already out of sight as his heart sank, turning around, he looked everywhere, hopping high and low.
WHERE IS SHE?!
“Having trouble, Mister Ram?” Sabrina chuckled as she sat on a roof, looking down at him with a grin.
“I don’t want your mockery, Sabrina! This is serious! I need to find her!” He said, looking around as Sabrina sighed.
“Why? She’s just some amnesiac you picked up right?” She said, and he looked up at her.
“But she needs help….And she doesn't even know what's going on most of the time!” His eyes flickered blue, a soft gentle kindness as Sabrina looked away.
You’re too soft…she’s obviously insane…
“Come on, I’ll help you scout, she couldn’t have gone far.” Sabrina said, as she helped Quentin onto the roof.
Looking around, she watched as his ears twitched, hoping to hear her, his eyes moving around, hoping to see her, he had always been like this.
This urge to save people…and she was perfect for that, some little girl who fell right into his arms, from the belly of a beast.
But Sabrina didn’t buy that, something was up with that girl…
And she’d find out what…before it hurt him.
