Chapter 18.

"When everything is silent, a battle is possibly approaching, because the great silences describe perfect strategies."

With the rejection of the previous article, Olive was a little disappointed, perhaps people did not want to open their eyes and see that Patrick was the main interpreter of multiple cases in progress... so it was decided, it was now or never that she was going to unmask Patrick in front of the world... she would be the voice of many women and children; she would see her sister again and she would sink Patrick in jail, so, that day she decided that after a long time she would leave home and this time she would be prepared, she had kept in her waist a stun gun that was the only thing she had to defend herself in case of a possible kidnapping.

 She would dress as casually as possible and would be getting to know Patrick Tempus's workplace. She was going to the central clinic in the capital of Whistler where Patrick spent most of his consultations. 

She knew that if she managed to get to the clinic's filing cabinet she could look for the tapes where Patrick Tempus took consultations; the man had to have made some minor mistake, he couldn't be perfect; he had to have made at least a small, almost invisible mistake.

She would review all the tapes if necessary, but she wouldn't give up. She had to fight for them, for Ami, for the women and for the children. She felt that she had to give them a dignified place and she had to protect them from this predator, but ¿was Patrick really an insatiable predator like she thought or was she really wrong in her judgment?

Once she entered the clinic, she began to walk slowly as if she wanted to find something…Olive had a huge sweatshirt and worn jeans along with some old tennis shoes and a face mask, she had not registered, she only said that she was going to visit a relative named Maria and luckily for her there was a Maria in the clinic that was in the urology department.

 Olive nodded gratefully and began to walk to this department, but before entering she saw a young janitor who came with her cart and very sadly, Olive approached her and discreetly walked to the front of her just to give her an electric shock simulating a hug between the two, to then take her unconscious to the cleaning room, where she tied her up, gagged her and gave her a sedative... then she undressed her, put on her uniform and hid her in a closet to which she put a padlock, and then left with the cart again directly to the files area...

Olive could not believe that she had hurt a person; her hands were sweating at this point, she was more into computers and numbers, she wasn't the type of person who would go out on the street, but anything to find evidence.

Upon arriving, she showed the cleaning lady's ID and continued onward trying to control her nerves and praying that no one would stop her to ask her anything; once inside, she took a deep breath and saw that the place had cameras, so she cautiously looked at her cell phone screen pretending to read a message when in reality she was sending a code to unlink the cameras with the phone's flash, it was something she had designed many years ago and that had worked for her so far, so once the image of the cameras was gone, she proceeded to run through the large file dividers looking in the pediatrics and gynecology area... she would take all the tapes that were in that place and then return them anonymously.

Once all the tapes were loaded, she proceeded to take some cleaning products in her hand and turned the cameras back on, pretending to finish cleaning, leaving the archive the way she had come… in that, she saw that some security guards were approaching the archive where she had been minutes before, so she quickened her pace and pretended that she was going to look for some products in the cleaning room, where she undressed, put her clothes back on, put the tapes in her bag, freed the young woman and dressed her, then left her in a corner, to immediately leave as if nothing had happened…

¿What would Olive find on the tapes? ¿Would she be able to get home safely or would she die on the way…?
