A ray of light.

When Glades woke up and saw Emily asleep with traces of tears staining her face, he thought she had had a nightmare and was grateful to have been there for her at that moment, but he was shocked to see the apple and the water, which made his stomach react before his hands growling loudly, so he felt embarrassed for a moment... so, he gently woke Emily up and told her to eat a little so she would have strength to continue on her way, Emily did not reproach or say anything, she simply nodded and silently ate, pretending that she had seen Chester before, and the simple fact of remembering their encounter made her body tremble; and Glades noticing it held her hand and said: Emily, Emily, react, you're safe for now, Emily, come back to me...

Emily could clearly hear Glades, but there was something that didn't let her move, because she was having a panic attack due to the level of stress she had been accumulating during all this time, Glades seeing that Emily wasn't getting better, decided to slap her so she would react and for some reason it worked, Emily returned to normal and when she saw Glades the only thing she said was: it seems that you have restarted my Windows from how hard you have hit me, so Glades answered her: it had to be done, you didn't react, you seemed dead in life, Emily sketched a low smile and continued eating that apple until she finished it and after they were both ready, the same door where Chester had left before opened, they stood up and walked until they could go through it, only to notice that it was a completely dark room, there was nothing they could see, which made them both hold hands tightly and continue to keep walking, always with the fear that the floor was just a death trap…

Both walked and tripped over objects they couldn't recognize due to the lack of light, but then something they didn't imagine happened: a third person joined them and took the hands of both of them, that action made those women start kicking, screaming and throwing punches at nothing, then the lights turned on and to their surprise they noticed that it was a woman who had her eyes covered and her bandages were stained with blood, in front of Glades she fell and began to back away, Emily was petrified, she didn't move, but that woman began to speak telling them to help her out because she really wanted to go back to her children, she said: I can't see anything, in fact, I can't feel my face, I know they are in this room because you can feel the vibrations of their breathing.

It was then that Emily came out of her trance and said: ¿how come you don't feel your face?¿ Don't you know that you have a bandage on your eyes stained with blood? The woman began to bring her hands to her face and when she noticed that what Emily had told her was true, she tried to take off the bandage and when she did, Emily's scream of panic and horror was the confirmation that the woman's eyes had been taken out, she only had two empty sockets full of flesh and nerves that were dripping blood, it seemed that she had not lost her eyes for long because everything looked so fresh, then Glades told her: put the bandage back on because you have no eyes, at that, the desperate woman gave a heartbreaking scream, which vibrated in the eardrums of Emily and Glades, who did not know what to do to help that poor woman, then the woman told them: you have to kill me, because if I do not have eyes to see my children, then it is like living without having lived and I do not plan to die without being dead first. After saying these words, Chester's voice was heard saying, You know what you have to do to get out of this floor: either you help her cross or you kill her and cross alone, the decision is in your hands.

The three women were shocked by those words, then Glades said: You have to help her cross. You may not be able to see again, but at least you will be able to hear and feel them. With that alone, you have already won the world. The woman simply said, I don't want to be a burden to you and I know that the other floors may be more risky than this one and the previous ones. It would be best if you end my life so that you can continue until the end. Hearing that, Emily said: Very well, I will kill you, ¿but tell me if you have something to say before you die, any confession? It was then that the woman said: Okay, I, Daniela, confess that I have murdered my husband in the past for being an abusive and violent man.,I did it with clean hands so I could live my life in peace and tranquility, now today, the day of my death, I will die in the same way he did, but I ask you that if you ever leave this place, take flowers to the blue river and let them flow because it will be the representation of my soul entering peacefully into the afterlife.

After those very moving words and that cruel confession, Emily looked at the floor of the room trying to find something to kill the woman with and the only thing halfway dangerous she found were the needles of a tattoo machine already connected, so she grabbed it, went to where Daniela was, lifted her neck and said: I'm sorry, because you'll stop breathing right now, after saying that last thing she buried the machine where her jugular was marked... and once inside, Daniela began to tremble and a huge red stain covered her entire body from below, then a door opened and both women ran through it and hoping not to have to take anyone else's life along the way...
