Cory already figured out that the minute that he was seen with Lynx arriving at the Underground, the rumors would spread, and he would be facing the consequences of his decisions. The only thing about it, Lynx took amazing care of Cory while he was down and promised him protection.
Cory isn’t so sure how he feels about rooming with the man that he should be fearing but he is trying to find the stalker. Even though Lynx is a questionable-moral man, he knew that in a way, Lynx would be one of the few people that he can trust.
Even Taylor allowed Cory to take a few days off because he had been worried that the stalker might show up and try to hurt Cory. Cory was grateful, knowing his time would be coming up where he would end up getting Judas back in his home and be far away from Lynx.
It's surprising enough to him that he actually feels a little sad about it. It’s like Lynx has been worming his way into Cory’s heart little by little and it is taking everything in his power to make sure that Cory is going to hesitate on leaving.
Pulling up in the front where the valet can park the car, Cory is looking out nervously. Everyone knows that Lynx doesn’t come to the front, and he is worried that it’s going to cause a lot of problems.
Especially because of Lynx.
“What? Are you scared about the attention you might receive?” Lynx teases Cory, loving to see Cory looking so timid, “I can promise you that they are not going to care.”
Before Cory can say anything, Lynx gets out of the car and comes around to open the door for Cory. Seeing how Lynx is holding out his hand, patiently waiting for Cory to accept, it’s kind of like how a couple would be. Cory isn’t so sure about it but he’s trying to not think much about it anymore.
Taking Lynx’s hand, Cory is helped out of the car, people turning around to stare at them, to whisper. Cory tries to ignore it, Lynx’s arm coming around his waist and holding him close to his side that way Cory wouldn’t be able to run away.
“Everyone is staring.” Cory grumbles, thinking that it would deter Lynx, “should I just go ahead?”
Lynx just smiles and keeps Cory close to his side, ignoring everyone, “don’t worry about them. They are just jealous that they don’t have my attention the way that you do.”
Wordlessly, Lynx guides Cory into the Underground, making sure that everyone can see it. Cory thought about running off, hoping that Lynx wouldn’t do anything about it. He’s more so worried about pushing Cory’s buttons and making sure that Cory is not going to be able to run away.
Before going to the changing area, Lynx comes to a sudden halt, making Cory do as well. Without saying much, Lynx pulls Cory into his embrace, making sure that Cory can feel just precisely what he is doing to Lynx.
But what made Cory red in the face is when Lynx reaches down and squeezes Cory’s butt in his large hands.
Just as Cory was going to freak out, Lynx let go and took a step back, “have fun. I will be watching.”
With one more smack on Cory’s butt, Lynx doesn’t leave until Cory is gone in the room before heading down the hall. He has a stalker to catch.
Back in the changing room, Cory thought it was going to be okay until someone fists their fingers in his hair and yanks painfully. Although he doesn’t cry out in pain, he winces and tears threaten to spill as it really hurt.
Whipping around after the culprit let go, Cory is shocked to see a very beautiful, but angry boy glaring at him.
If he wasn’t such an asshole, Cory would have thought him to be more beautiful, but his expression makes him ugly.
His long brown hair is a mess on the top of his head like he hasn’t brushed it, and his eyes are a beautiful shade of brown but are also so cold.
“What the hell was that for?” Cory asks, feeling a bit frustrated because he just did it.
“What do you have that I don’t?” The boy screeches in Cory’s face, no one trying to stop him as it looks like Cory could get hit at any moment, “he was MINE and then you came along and stole him from me. What makes a pathetic bitch like yourself so special?”
Cory realizes then that this is about Lynx, but he has no idea what the boy is saying. Lynx and Cory do not have that kind of relationship, nor would he want a relationship either.
“We are not dating.” Cory defends himself, “we have a professional relationship.”
At least Cory hopes so.
The boy scoffs and rolls his eyes, “Lynx would not be taking you around in his car for everyone to see if he thought of you in just a professional relationship. Mark my words, you’re going to regret it if you don’t leave him alone.”
Cory was going to defend himself this time, but the boy turns on his heel and storms off. He leaves the changing room, so it makes Cory wonder if he is going to Lynx.
Pushing aside his feelings, Cory was quick to get changed and get to work. It’s been easier now, going with the flow as he has learned the ropes. He had never thought that he would ever get to be this ‘good’, but he promised himself that he wouldn’t allow it anymore once his time is up.
He can’t do it.
He won’t allow it to happen.
“I need you to serve this group in private room three.” Vex murmurs which is not normal for Cory to be doing, “I hope you will not make me regret giving you this opportunity, Sin.”
Cory doesn’t give in to Vex’s bullshit because he knows it’s not going to go well for him. So, he just grabs the drinks and heads into the direction of the private rooms, hoping that it was going to be alright no matter what he decided on.
As he steps inside of the room, something doesn’t feel right. The tension is thick and the looks he is receiving; it makes his blood run cold, but he knows that he will be okay. Nobody can touch him, not if they don’t want to die.
“Hello.” Cory greets them.
Pouring drinks is the easy part, remaining as quiet as possible and hoping that it’s not going to end up being a mess. With everything going on right now, he keeps asking himself how he’s going to continue to do this when he doesn’t want to. It’s kind of odd, the sensations that brew within him that is eager for a lot more when it comes to Lynx.
Anyone else’s gazes make him sick to his stomach.
Just as he was going to move back, he is suddenly grabbed and yanked onto the couch. Cory accidentally drops the drinks, making glass and liquid fly everywhere. His eyes widen with horror as he looks around, trying to get a feel for what he is seeing.
Something tells him it is not going to be easy.
“What are you doing?” Cory demands to know, trying to push the bastard off of him but it’s like nothing is going the correct way, “this is against the rules! Please unhand me!”
The desperation fills him, slightly worried about the outcome but the man won’t let him go. His entire body freezes when he feels the man groping him in all the wrong spots and it makes him want to hurl. He can’t break free, and they are not stopping.
“HELP!” Cory screams with all his might.
And for whatever reason, Cory could only think about Lynx.
