Railcar 90 is an elevator? The music playing was different than the one playing in railcar 88. The elevator had two exits, both on opposite sides of each other. The doors to railcar 91 still open. It looks like elevator doors from this side, but a single train door from the other side. Weird. The panel to choose which floor was on the wall opposite the door I just entered. There was a small digital screen above it showing the number 072. 72?!
I looked at the panel. There were ten rows of ten buttons each, with three other buttons placed just above them. The buttons had no numbers visible, but once they were pressed the number appeared, as I figured from seeing the second button on the seventh row shining with a “72.” There was a red ring pulsating around it. I pressed it. The digital screen changed to display “KEY NEEDED.” I tried pressing the open doors button. “KEY NEEDED.”
Well, I don’t have a key. I pressed another random button. The number did not display but the ring around the button pulsated with the same red glow. The screen still showing “KEY NEEDED.”
I pressed one of the three buttons at the top of the panel. “KEY NEEDED.” I slid my hands across the entirety of all of the buttons to see if any of them would work. The tenth button in the tenth row lit up with a green ring and displayed “100” inside it. “START.” There was a chime as the doors behind me started to close. No, no, no, no, no! I don’t want to go all the way back there! I shoved my arm in front of the doors to stop them from closing.
I was unable to get anywhere in this elevator. None of the buttons would work for me aside from taking me back to the first railcar. No thank you. At least not yet. There was nothing for me in the previous cars. Though, I could find Cornrose and ask him for some travel food. He did say he was here to serve.
I stepped out of the elevator, back onto railcar 91. Maybe I wasn’t supposed to be on that elevator, since the door wasn’t completely shut from when that woman went through. Was she able to jump around to each railcar? I closed the door completely this time, gave it about a minute, and then I reopened it and stepped through.
