Peering from my window–the feeling of being watched urged me awake.
Stumbling from my feet–I found myself back in my room.
DEREL: W-What..!? Where? How..?
As I tried reaching for my phone–I realized it was missing from its holster.
DEREL: Mom? Dad?
Walking towards the hallway–flashes of decayed and overgrown grime grew all over the walls. With light flaring its rays through the caved in ceiling–it felt as if a thousand years had gone by without anything being missed out of place since that evening night.
DEREL: W-What the hell..?
I whispered to myself.
PSSH-KLUNK!
The familiar metallic noise froze my blood solid.
Turning around I found myself in front of the monster machine once again.
Its reddened eyes and grimmed armor catered to its frightening appearance.
Lunging for my throat, I could feel its grimy blackened steel teeth tear through my flesh.
Awakening from my nightmare–I hushed a breath.
DEREL: Dahh..!
Looking around–the roads flew by as forests soon turned into snow-packed farmland.
With the gray clouds hovering above I could only feel dull by its imagery.
Hitching the windows cold with a frosted vision–I questioned whether everything was a dream. And if this were just another family vacation.
Hitting another few bumps here and there–I felt a certain weight lay onto my shoulder. Knowing the familiar smell of her ‘scented panda’ shampoo.
I scoffed a bit. At her exotic choices as well as to try and forget what had happened hours earlier.
Spotting a bag of chips within the plastic bags–I grabbed it by the throat before tearing the top off with a synced noise.
Kssh!
With the peculiar fresh air of dusted salt and flavored smell–I dug into my morning breakfast.
