Chapter 2:Alchemist at hurry I could feel the sun's rays hitting my eyes as I was still laying on the bed not wanting to get up.I pulled the blanket up more to cover my face.
“Not now sun…”I said plaintively.
Despite staying in bed the birds didn't make it any easier for me with their chirping so I finally got up walking towards the window barefoot.I pushed the doors of the window aside and took a deep breath to taste the sweet air of my homeland.It was beautiful as always:A city full of colors golden,blue,silver,white.Peaceful colors. A city full of green from the trees.Flowers everywhere, all kinds of flowers.This is what I liked to see.
As I heard the ring of the bell my attention turned to the big building with the clock and when I saw the time I was shocked.
“Oh no I’ll be late for work!”I immediately ran to my closet and dropped all the clothes to the ground trying to decide what to wear.
“What to choose what to choose.”I said repeatedly as I finally decided to pick the white shirt with the buttons and the long brown skirt with the belt.I started to get dressed and standed in front of my mirror trying to tangle my hair as fast as I could.I ran downstairs and tried to put on my shoes by doing little jumps to buy some time.
My mother saw me in hurry
“Ayen I made you some breakfast-”I interrupted her
“Sorry mom, I'll be late for work!”
I ran and took my bag from the couch.Then I took a pretzel from the plate and gave my mother a kiss on the cheek
“I’ll take only one thank you mom!”I ran to the front door as I turned to for a moment to farewell her and saw her smile and farewell me as well.I ran out of the house and started to run deeper in the city.I took a bite from my small lunch.It seems that my mother made it tasty as always.After some time of running I finally reached the alchemist shop.I opened the door and the bell ringed as I saw an orc,my boss,standing behind the counter annoyed,crossing his arms on his chest
“You are ten minutes late”He said
“I’m sorry sir it won’t happen again!”I bowed in respect while holding my bag
“If there is another time your fired I hope you know that”

“There won’t be next time I promise!”I said while feeling embarrassed
My boss sighed and took his coat and hat
“A gnome came and ordered 3 healing potions ,make sure he gets the order”He didn’t say another word he opened the door and left as I responded with a yes.
I sighed.I need to be more careful with the time,I thought.
I looked on my left and right seeing the different colors of bottles and crystals.I walked towards the stair and climbed to check if there was any healing potion left
“Hm…none.It seems that I have to make one myself.”I went down and walked towards the alchemist table.Then I checked the box next to me to take the ingredients I needed.
“Let’s see, we'll need Dandelions,,water and some salts of musk creeper”I took out the ingredients I needed and started making the potion.After I finished and saw the potion having this red glowing color I was sure that it was ready.I placed it in a bottle and raised it to examine it more closely.I smiled proudly.Just as I planned it to be.I placed it in a bag to make sure I won't forget the customer’s order and I kept making the rest of the potions.

Hours passed and the customer was nowhere to be seen.I felt annoyed and exhausted.My day at work had come to an end but here I was,waiting for a gnome to come. I rested my elbows on the counter and touched my cheeks.As I closed my eyes for a moment I heard the bell of the door, that meant someone entered but there was no one to be seen or so I thought because suddenly I heard someone clearing his throat.But still there was no one to be seen.But as I heard the same sound again I looked down and saw the gnome standing in front of the counter
“Oh sorry I didn’t notice you there sir”
“Don’t worry I got used to it.Is my order ready?”he said while touched his mustache
“Yea its right here three healing potions”I picked up the bag from the floor and gave it to him as he looked at me and placed a small bag of gold.
“For your good work my dear”
I smiled and placed the money with the rest of the cash thanking the gnome for the payment he gave me and the He walked towards the exit and left.I sighed I could finally leave.I cleaned up the place wiped the floor took the keys and my bag and walked out of the shop as I locked the door from outside.After making sure I didn’t miss anything I started walking my way back home feeling a desire to to taste my mother’s tasty food once again.

On my way home,I saw a lot of people gathered in the center of the fountain and from what my ears could hear someone was talking about something serious so I decided to go closer and hear.From the person’s voice I could understand that he sounded afraid trembling with every word he took out of his mouth
“And then!One of them grabbed him by the shirt and told him we will destroy anyone who stands in our way!And,I saw them killing him in front of my eyes!Thank the gods they didn’t see me but we are in danger!”


As he kept speaking I didn’t understand much of what he was saying I touched a lady’s shoulder next to me
“Excuse me.What is this man saying?”
The lady responded to me and said
“He’s talking about some necromancers that he saw outside the nation.Something about an attack.This man is crazy”
I felt confused.Necromancers?Attack?I didn’t understand,why would the necromancers attack?We didn’t hear from them for years so why would they suddenly attack?And even if they did try to attack.Odara is the safest and one of the most powerful nations in the world.So why is he worrying so much about it?
I heard the people calling him crazy but the man spoke once again.
“You don't understand!I saw them!I swear!These necromancers are coming to attack Odara!And they are more powerful than what we think!”
“Go say your nonsense somewhere else!”Everyone laughed at him and mocked him and I felt bad for him. I saw the man leaving angrily and I could understand from his lips that he said we’ll see what's to come.He words made me have a lot of thoughts at first I thought there was no way the necromancers could just enter the city and destroy us all but at the other hand I thought what good could this man earn by lying?I thought that I was just overthinking so I continued my way back home hoping for a good rest and delicious food.
