After shedding many tears and saying goodbye, Skye finally gathered the courage to leave his home and start his journey. He was warm and snug in his trusty winter boots, an oversized fur coat, and a scarf he had stolen. As he walked, he avoided looking at the tired-looking people around him and kept his gaze fixed on his destination: The Purple Kingdom.
All he knew about the Purple Kingdom was that the people there were skilled writers, serious-minded, and mostly employed in the business sector.
Although his boots were sturdy enough to keep the freezing snow from seeping in, they were not strong enough to prevent him from sinking into it. He had already sunk into the snow a couple of times and had to struggle to get out each time. He even caught the attention of some passersby who watched, walked by, or laughed.
He hadn't realised how far he walked when he found himself already at the gates of Purple Kingdom. Now, there weren't actually gates, just a dull sign saying 'Welcome To Purple Kingdom'
"Wow..."
Skye stood in the heart of the bustling city, surrounded by towering skyscrapers that seemed to stretch endlessly towards the greyish-purple clouds above. He couldn't help but gaze up at the mesmerizing, awe-inspiring buildings that seemed to touch the sky.
As he looked around her, she noticed that every billboard and wall was adorned with colourful advertisements and posters, each vying for the attention of the busy passersby. Despite the chaos and noise, there was a sense of order and purpose in the air, as men and women in smart suits bustled by, clutching their briefcases and heading to work.
Skye felt a sense of admiration for these people, who seemed so confident and determined to accomplish their goals. He wondered what kind of work they did and what their lives were like outside of the office.
The small boy was about to enter the city when he realized he hadn't eaten since he left home. He quickly ate a piece of bread and continued on his way. Although he felt a bit scared entering the city, he pushed past his fear and went through the makeshift entrance. People glanced at him but didn't stare. It wasn't common for a Blue to be outside of their kingdom, but it wasn't too unusual for Purples...
The sudden chaos of noise suddenly busted into his eardrums as people pushed passed him, accidentally smacking him with bags and elbows. Noticeable "Excuse me" s, "Move it!" s, "Care to buy my latest product" s and "Pardon" 's here and there. As much as he had physically prepared he didn't prepare mentally for all this rapid motion.
So he just pulls his hood down a little further and continues walking. The last thing he remembers is going up some well-kept stairs and abruptly being hit by a bag and falling. That's when it all went black...
