"This sword," began their father, "was obtained during the war of existence between our empire and the neighbors. I stumbled upon a small house where a young boy and his family were starving. I offered them food, as we had a camp nearby. One day, I found the woman and her daughter crying. The boy had tried to defend them against bandits but was overpowered. They took the sword and all the food, leaving the mother and daughter hiding in fear." "I hunted down the bandits and retrieved what I could.The mother pleaded , saying she hated the sword and wanted money to flee with her daughter. Reluctantly, I bought the sword from her. Later, I discovered it was made of a special material, with the handle crafted from a bone type and the green line into the blade. "The Katana wasn't actually bought. I fought in a war, and the owner of this katana was so strong that we fought for two days straight. His katana is named Maiho. I defeated him in that fight, and before he died, he gave me his katana out of respect. Afterward, I went to his hometown and donated all my reward for his family. So, I said I bought it, but only Kai knows the truth." As the conversation continued, their father mentioned, "The other one have a long story. I simply bought it from a merchant when I was in a mountain area. I liked its shape and its beautiful handle." Lucenio was disappointed, but his father's experiences showed that he had been through a lot. He glanced at his brother, who was still asleep, then at the door as if expecting his sister to come running. Looking down at his hand, he saw a mixture of blood and darkness dripping from it. Quickly, he tried to cover it up, then went to clean himself before attempting to sleep again, preparing for the challenges of the coming day
