I’m really enjoying not just the art (and how impressively effective the black and white is), but the pacing of this prologue. We get a lot of information, it doesn’t feel like an info dump, and there’s a good hook/interest (revenge/dubious moral grey zone). Also, the typography and typesetting looks very professional.
When Ivar was only a child, her older sister Ena was killed by a spirit that was never caught.
Many years have passed since then. She´s become the strongest spirit hunter, and now she has the beast cornered. Some, like her wife Alafira and her husband Beren, think she wants revenge.
They are wrong. What she wants is to change the past, literally. To save her sister.
But the wounds that have set her on this path are wounds all the same. Will she succeed in her quest? And even if she does, what will the consequences be?
