After my mom had told my stepdad, he wasn't happy at all. I guess she thought that telling him wouldn't do any harm but instead have someone to try to talk me out of what I was going through. But instead, when I was home from school he had come into my room. He just stood there by the door way and stared. And then he left.
At first it wasnt bad at all, but little by little I started to notice him act different around me. Until one day he snapped. He had went out drinking with some friends, and when he came home he went towards my room and began to throw slurs at me and telling me horrible stuff. It wasn't until he told me that I was a disgrace and that I should die and go to hell. That what finally ruined the little hope I had for what we had left between us. After all that he, walked out and past out on the couch. I went to my mother's room, where, im pretty sure she heard everything but didn't come to help me.
" I thought he would help you out of your faze you're going through." She ended up saying while I stood in the door way facing her.
" Well it clearly didn't. Why would you think that talking to me would make me change my mind? Would change me? Better yet, why didn't you come and stop him from saying all that to me? You obviously heard everything." She didn't say anything. " So you agree with him, huh?" Again she did not say a word. I left the house that night.
I could'nt stay there, that was also the last day I ever spoke to the both of them. After graduating high school , I moved out and got an a apartment and didn't tell them or speak to them after. Since then, I went to college and paid everything myself. No support from them at all. Now 5 years later I have a Book cafe and am just living life like I wanted.
" No, I haven't, and honestly I don't really care. They haven't reached out to me either, so why should I reach out to people who wont support me for who I am. They hurt me, but don't even have the audacity to call once in a while at least to check in." I was really close to crying at this point.
My parents where my everything, especially after my real dad died, my step dad was there for everything after. He took care of me and everything. And having him turn his back on me really did some damage. They both damaged me.
" Sorry, I didn't mean to bring up memories. It's just they're you're parents. If I were in that situation I'd at least send a text to them Im ok, even it they dont reply. Again Im sorry for bringing it up." She replied.
I smiled and continued cooking. While I was lost in thought and tyring to answer Shary I was able to finish dinner and plate it for the both of us to eat.
" Well dinner is ready." I say and handed her a plate and grabbed us another drink and settled my self in front of her where my plate of food was at.
" Anyway, so, have you seen pretty boy again the other day?" Shary asked and as soon after stuffed her face with food.
" Hmm, no he I didn't, why?"
"Oh, well I thought you'd exchange numbers at this point."
My face turned red.
" I haven't even had a proper conversation with the guy, all I know is his name because I happen to read it as a took his credit card to ring up his order." I say as I too shoved food im my mouth, already feeling embarassed about the topic.
" At this point he should just grow some balls and ask for your number. I mean the way he looks at you just screams 'He's my type'. " She stares for a bit and continues, " Or you too, could grow some balls and get his number."
I mean she's got a point. I could at least try. Maybe start with a short conversation and see where it goes from there.
I bought some INK coins, but I don't want to use them myself, I want to transfer them at a low price Does anyone need it, see my homepage to contact me
He doesn't know when his legs will go numb and fall out beneath him, and now he is going to have get a service dog, at least it wasn't a wheelchair, and can continue with his business, running a Bookstore Cafe, cute huh? But what isn't, is having a guy stare at you while working. Like why, who is he? He is hot though.
