“We survived the first day!” Sandra groan as she flopped onto my bed
“Sandra, you shouldn't be laying on someone else's bed,” Alex said as he sat on Ysennia's bed
“Alex, look at what your doing right now,” Ysennia crossed her arms, glaring at him
“Sorry,” He slid down to the floor and sat there, “Well, I wanted to know how your trainer's are?
“Mine is great, she's very talkative and makes me feel welcomed,” Kelli smiled, picking at her shoelaces
“Well at least yours is talkative and mine is very introvert, but I'll get her out of her shell,” Ysennia smiled, laying down on her bed
“I guess they wanted us to have a trainer whos the same sex as us,” Sandra said
“Really? I have a male trainer as all of you know since he announced us with all of us there,” I said, sitting at the corner of my bed, not wanting to get in Sandra's view
“Ah, yes. The handsome Neville,” Sandra gushed, turning around onto her back, “Layla, you are so lucky. To see him every day and not be tempted to touch his hair or his arms,” She rolled in the bed, giggling to herself
“I truly don't understand why you girls, get so giddy over a myserious man,” Alex sighed, shaking his head
“You don't need to know if not well be telling you our secrets,” Ysennia said, “So, Layla, you have to tell us your daily events with him as that's the only thing that'll keep us intrigued this whole two months,”
“Hey, is it possible, we can switch trainers for a day?” Sandra sat up, “I'm willing to fight everyone to get Neville as my trainer,”
We burst out laughing, “Sandra, I don't think he'll be able to deal with you. Just gushing over him,” I giggled, patting her hand
“Well, from the looks of it, he's too busy gushing over you,” She grinned, “He's so into you, Layla, so take the chance or lead him my way,”
My eyes widened at her and I looked over at Ysennia, “What are you telling her?”
“Layla, Ysennia didn't tell me anything. All of us can see how he looks at you. Like this man is seriously looking at you from afar. That's why I'll be your cupid and find information on him so we can learn more about him. If we find any red flags then its game over,”
“Depends if the red flags can be changed,” Ysennia said, “You know it's always good to have a red flag that makes your heart flutter and excited,”
“I love your thinking, Ysennia!”
I just stared at them before shaking my head, “Nothing can happen between the two of us, so get that out of your head,”
“If your thinking of that rule, I can find cases that help a couple stay together or a loophole,” Alex spoke up, intrigued
“No,”
“I'll try my best to help,” Kelli said, raising her hand, “If it's for Layla's relationship then yes. I even want to see what their child will look like espeically it's hair,”
“Yes!” Ysennia and Sandra yelled, “We have it all planned out, so Layla its your turn to keep him intrigued by you,”
I covered my face, embarassed, not understanding why they were doing this, “Can we please stop talking about this?”
“Okay, well just have a group meeting with the four of us,” Ysennia said, getting out her phone, “I'm going to send a message and reply back your name so we can save each other's contact,”
I sighed, letting my hands fall into my lap, “I'm doomed,”
“Doomed for love~” Sandra sang

I sat at Neville's desk, scrolling on my computer as I read through the documents that Neville was currently working on. The case was interesting and I could see why it was difficult for him. The case consisted of a Itosan family and two non citizen beings. A compliant was sent in by the mother for the unlawfully union of her children with the two non citizen. The real kicker was that the non citizens were her children's fated ones. According to their laws and history, fated ones are sacred, but there is a taboo for it as well. Their fated ones can't be of human blood, only of their same species. It's not fair, but that's the sad truth. So, an ancient elder will terminate their connection but in the end, they both become emotionless and romance is rare for them. So, if the family has a suitor for them, a connection will try to be form between them, but it's a 97% fail. Or another way to keep their fated ones is to run away which leads to them being hunted for the rest of their life.
I slightly looked up from my screen to look at Neville. He was concentrating on what he was reading and I could see the eyesbags beginning to form. I wonder if he has a fated one?

I grabbed the coffee from the batista and walked off back to Neville's office. I decided to buy us coffee since it was tiring, looking at the screen and papers continously and I needed to walk around to relieve the numbness in my legs. I carefully walked, trying not to trip as I decided to wear heels even though they're 3 inches. I smiled at people as they walked by, just lookinng at me. I knocked on the door of Neville's once I arrive there and went inside, closing the door with my foot, carefully. I walked to the desk and place the coffee cup in front of him and I sat down in my chair, taking a sip of mine. Enjoying the warm vanilla coffee.
“Was the line long?” He asked, rubbing his eyes off as he set his glasses on the desk
“Not really, but they did take a while to make it,” I logged into my laptop and reread the documents to make sure where I stopped
“Have you found any information that could be useful?”
I handed him my notepad, “I have wrote down the pages and lines where the information is at, but if you can't seem to find it. I can send you a copy of my documents that I underlined on,”
“Send me your copy as well,” He typed away on his computer as he sipped his coffee
I sent him my copy and continued to read through the documents. Just astound on what's happening. They've had two lawyers dealing with this case and had went to trial three times to not reach a verdict or a solution at all. The mother decided to take matters into her own hands and sent the case file to this law firm and it was given to Neville.
“Mr. Neville, what if the mother and her children can met a agreement or solution? What will happen?”
He looked at me, leaning back in his chair, “It's going to be difficult as the mother wants their connection to be broken, but the children don't and they are of legal age, so there's not much we can do. Do you have any ideas or thoughts?”
“If the children truly love their fated ones then they could move away or run away but it'll put them in trouble and the taboo. But, I was thinking and I truly don't want this to happen but it might be the only way,” I sighed, “Its for them to be sterile so they won’t have childern and can be together still. Or, they can do gene testing so they can deactivate the gene that activates their supernatural identity. Or they can create a embryo which doesn’t have the supernatural gene,”
He stared at me, “Which one do you prefer… for them?”
“If I'm being completely honest, I would either say the embryo one as we don't know if they want children. But, it's their choice,” I scratched the back of hand, trying to avert my eyes from him as he stared deeply at me
“Yes, it's their choice and I hope they talk through it as this can bring them together or make them drift apart,”
“When will the first hearing be?”
“It'll be in three days, so during this time we have. We need to get any information we can get from this packet and then look through previous cases that pertain to this situation and what were the positive outcomes,”
“But I thought we're on the mother's side?”
He shook his head, “Although, she sent this in and picked me as her lawyer. I truly don't see this case fair or righteous from my point of view. She has lived her life already and is trying to control her children's. So in the end, she'll get her worse nightmare and losing connection to her children. There's nothing I can do, but put on a farce and lie while helping the defendants. Do you think of my choice as wrong?”
“No, I think you're truly treating this case fairly and want everyone to have a choice whether it harm's your reputation or this mother and her children,”
