Testing Chapter

The test chapter is just a representation of all the elements I want to have in the comic. Humor, Action, Thoughtfulness, Characters (everyone has their own ideology), etc etc. It took a lot of work to cram everything into one chapter.
The main goal was so I could finish it and then tell myself what mistakes are there, what I need to do, learn to change not only the artwork to a better quality, but also the story and much more.
So take note that this whole story will not be linked to the final version at all. It's just as a preview of what the story is actually like and the vibe it has.

It is year 0 after the curse of the runes.
A year that was almost fatal to us and we could have lost everything we held dear. On that fateful day, all the magical runes came together to create a giant explosion that would cause the big bang and wipe everything out. But instead, there was a hail. And magic was released from its thousand-year prison.
Instead of enjoying its newfound freedom, magical energy decided to possess all living things and began feeding off their life energy. In doing so, it has determined their fate in the clutches of magic from which they must either extricate themselves or receive a helping hand from a member of the Garden of Souls order that guards the balance of the entire space.
