An eerie silence followed Chris' words. Dima was trying to weigh the seriousness of them. In the limited time he spent with the wolf, he deduced that Chris was as serious as a clown while performing. Laughter flew out of his mouth, proving Dima's point further.
Serious? My ass!
"Would you mind keeping your spit inside your mouth?" Dima sneered and swiped a hand down his face just to be petty.
"If you want me to, then sure, otherwise we can exchange saliva while I kiss you senseless."
Of course, embarrassing him is a far-fetched dream, Dima lamented.
"Wow, that totally made sense! And normally, people exchange numbers before starting to exchange kisses but you aren't 'normal' as I have already predicted."
"Oh, we can do that too! You could have just said that you wanted my number, sweetheart."
"I don't want your number, you cocky shit!"
"Then you want to give me your number? Oh, I get it! You want to wine and dine before becoming my dessert." Chris laughed lightheartedly at his own humor.
"Or how about this - I eat you for dinner?" Dima was quick to retort and bare his fangs at Chris.
"Oh my God! Really?"
Dima squinted his eyes at the wolf in confusion. "Why in the world are you so excited about me eating you?"
"You'd be eating me out, obviously I'd be excited."
Dima wailed internally. I won't lose my cool, I am a calm person, he reminded himself.
"Nobody said anything about eating anyone out; I said eating you. There is a difference."
"I know," Chris declared and chortled.
He was far too entertained for the vampire's liking. Although Chris was undeniably enjoying and having fun, Dimitri was not for the fun was at his expense.
"You are funny." The Alpha had some guts saying that to a vampire who was watching him with a poker face. "Your poker face makes everything more fun."
Oh, he didn't!
Deciding to give him just a stink eye, the frantic vampire walked away. He didn't make it far because of course, the wolf followed. Dimitri grunted audibly. "What do you want now? Leave me alone."
Looking at the source of his entertainment up and down, Chris said in a low voice, "I want so much- your whole body specifically- but you don't look like you are in the mood, so your name will suffice for now."
"Firstly, I would never be in the mood. Secondly, no."
"Come on, would it hurt you to tell me your name?"
"You only tell your name when you want to know someone or make acquaintance."
Not letting up the opportunity, Chris thrust his hand forward, a boyish grin illuminating his face. "Hi, my name is Chris, I want to know you." When the handsome vampire didn't offer his hand, Chris took it forcefully, making Dimitri yank his hand back and look at it like it contracted some disease.
"Eww. No."
"Please?" Chris said, taking a step forward.
Dimitri didn't want to be fondled by the wolf, so he took a step back.
Chris took notice and again stepped forth with a 'please,' making Dimitri take one back with a 'no'. The game of cat and mouse went on until Dimitri was pressed up against a wall. At this point, it insanely looked like he yearned to become one with the wall. The bastard standing in front of him had mirth dancing in his eyes.
"Fucker," the vampire hissed, true to his nature, but the shameless wolf brought his face closer in return. Dimitri tried to shift his head back which did not happen; walls don't sway at the will of the living.
Still looking at him, the wolf stepped back a little. "Do you want me to touch you?"
"No."
"Then tell me your name."
"No."
"Then I'll touch you."
Lifting his hand, Chris gradually brought his hand towards Dimitri's face who neither cracked nor snapped.
He wouldn't do it; no wolf would want an angry vampire on hand. Dima hoped that was the case, but he should not have doubted Chris as he did not know the werewolf well or at all. Had he known him, he would have been aware that Chris was fearless. He did not stop.
"DIMITRI! It's Dimitri," the vampire conceited as he saw the hand was a hair away from contact with his skin.
"Was it so tough now?" Chris stepped back and went to his training equipment.
Without squandering any time, Dima aimed for the exit. The last words he heard before were Chris' as yelled "I'll see you soon, Dimitri" all the way across from the gym.
