Curtains open again.

Rainbow Hills’ property assets are still around, but this time we also see Sunny’s bedroom assets around, sharing the background. Sunny’s bed is in the scene.

Sunny enters his bedroom from the side and collapses over his bed.

Sunny: AAAAA… Isabela! You can’t believe it! (Sunny takes his pretty baby doll from behind the bed and hugs her tightly) I… I just saw the cutest boy I have ever seen and… and… My papa said he’s my brother now? Nooooo… This can’t be! Urgh! Just by looking at him, my heart stops! Isabelaaaaa! What I should dooo? No, no, no, no, no… I can’t be! I can’t be gay! There’s no way! If… If I’m gay… I… Everyone’s gonna do that thing to me! No, Isabela, no! This can’t be happening to me! Not now! Not with my brand-new brother! I… I want to love him so bad! AAAAAAAAAAA!!!

Mister Cloud gets close to his bedroom door, staying on the other side: Sunny? You okay there?

Sunny: Oh noes! It’s papa! (He whispers to the doll) Isabela! What do I do?

Mister Cloud: Sunny? You were screaming just now. Is everything okay?

Sunny: Yes, pa… I mean… Yes, Dad! Everything is fine! I just hit my pinky on the bed corner! Ouch, my pinky…

Mister Cloud: Can I come in? We need to talk about Rainn.

Sunny: No, Dad! No… I’m fine! It’s everything okay! I just need to take it slowly! I just need some time alone…

Mister Cloud: If you say so… I will be in the living room if you need me.

Sunny: Yes, pa… Dad! Yes, I know where to find you!

Mister Cloud: I will be waiting.

Mister Cloud stays close to the door.

Sunny goes back whispering to the doll: Oh Isabela, papa can’t discover it! Now that there’s a boy so close to me… It feels like I’m going to die! And he’s so cute, I simply can’t! AAAAAAAAA!!!

Mister Cloud: You sure you are okay, son?

Sunny whispers to the doll: I knew it! I knew he wouldn’t leave so soon! (He continues shouting to the door) Yes, Dad! Everything is in place! I may just move the bed away! I keep hitting my pinky here! Haha…

Mister Cloud gets impatient: This boy… (He leaves the door)

Sunny waits and hears his father's steps going away.

Sunny quickly goes back whispering to the doll: Did you hear that Isabela? Oh boy… I hope he isn’t suspicious. Just one more year of high school and I graduate and, luckily, I may go live away from this damned place! I can’t take it, Isabela! I can’t take it! I just want to be gay and free! And… and… I’m so scared Isabela! I can let no one know about you! You are my only friend, Isabela! What do I do?! (Sunny drops his head on the pillow and brings it to his face with a pull, muffling his voice with it) AAAAAAAAAA!!!

Someone knocks on the door.

Sunny jumps out of bed, forgetting his little doll on his bed, and quickly opens the door.

Sunny: Dad! I told you I’m fine!

Rainn: I’m not your dad.

Sunny: … (Sunny eyes get wide)

Rainn: Sorry, I’m… They told me to come talk to you. They are a little worried about you.

Sunny: I’M FINE! (Sunny shouts sounding desperate) I mean… My apologies! I didn’t mean to shout at you. I’m just… (Sunny looks Rainn so up close he needs to tug his collar open) Oh, God is too hot today…

Rainn: Would you like to go for a walk? I just came from the train station, I can assure you it’s pretty cool outside.

Sunny stutters: I… I… I… I will get ready and I meet you outside. Heh… (Sunny tries a fake smile) Hehe…

Rainn smiles and hides a giggle.

Sunny gets mad: What are you laughing at?!

Rainn: Dunno. I just like how you smile.

Sunny doesn’t move for a brief moment, then closes the door and jumps over the bed. He muffles another cry with the pillow.

Sunny whispers to the doll: Oh, Isabela, even his smile makes my blood boil! I want to beat him for good and I would be loving every minute! Can you understand, Isabela? He makes me crazy! (He muffles another scream and suddenly stops) I know! He’s my brother now! I can’t be in love with my own brother! I… I just need to imagine he is my own brother! I… I can’t be in love with my brother! You see that Isabela? That was an easy task! You are the best friend in the world!

Sunny hides the doll while Rainn stops listening behind the door. He giggles silently and steps away from the stage.

Sunny: Oh Isabela, I really wish I could bring you with me to meet my new brother! He’s so damn cute! His voice sounds so sweet like velvet… (Sunny sighs) I really should calm down. He’s just my new brother after all. (Sunny closes his eyes for a moment. He imagines something sweet and hums a happy song)

Sunny stops at the door, and looks back, just to be sure Isabela is not showing. He opens the door and finds his father there.

Mister Cloud: Hello, son! (He enters the bedroom)

Sunny: Uh… Heh… Hello, Dad! How is it going?

Mister Cloud: I hope it’s going well between Rainn and you.

Sunny: Yeah… Yeah! So far… so good! He invited me to go for a walk. So… I’m just going outside! Nothing serious!

Mister Cloud: Yes, he told me. I just wanted you to take good care of him for me. Is that fine to you?

Sunny: Sure… Sure! Dad… I’m going to take good care of him! Yes, I… I will…

Mister Cloud: I really hope he didn’t cause you any bad impression. I wouldn’t like to take him away if he causes any trouble to you or to your sister.

Sunny: Wha… NO! You can’t just simply take him away like that! He barely did anything! And… uh… I… I promise I’m going to behave, Dad! He can stay as long as he wants!

Mister Cloud: I’m glad to hear it, son. Misty also agrees. So I will let you three get well acquainted for now. If everything goes all right, you two may go to school together.

Sunny: To… Together?

Mister Cloud: He’s the same age as you, so I’m getting the papers just so he can study in the same school as you. I hope that’s not a problem. Is it?

Sunny: No… No! No, it isn’t. It’s just… too much to take at once, Dad! I don’t know if I’m ready to have a new brother.

Mister Cloud: Sorry, son. Rainn lost his mother just a few days ago, and he has nobody to take care of him while he finishes school. I promise it’s just for a year or so.

Sunny: Just a single year?

Mister Cloud: Yes, then he will be eighteen years old and able to handle his own business. I promise you won’t notice he’s here! He sure is just a quiet boy.

Sunny: Oh… Heh… No… I mean… I… I’m out of words… that is.

Mister Cloud: Don’t worry, son. (He puts his hand on his shoulder) While I’m away, I hope you can be the man of the house and take good care of your new brother.

Sunny: Yes… dad… (Sunny sounds a little sad imagining his life without Rainn) I promise I’m going to take good care of my new brother.

Mister Cloud: That’s more like it! I will stay for a few days, and then it’s time to go back to work.

Sunny: I know that. We can take care of each other while you are out.

Mister Cloud hugs Sunny: That’s my boy! I’m so proud of you! Never forget that!

Sunny: Yes, dad.

Mister Cloud: You can go now. Don’t take Rainn too far away, you understand? He doesn’t know the place yet.

Sunny: Yes, dad.

Sunny leaves.

Mister Cloud: I really hope he’s taking it well. My Sunny is just too sensible…
