You don't see the other patients except when you go in the day room or when it's time to eat.
You like it better this way, Bumi thinks you're a recluse but you don't care
A few hours later, a nurse brings you your medication. You sit on the edge of your bed and take your second pill, just a simple yellow one. You wait for a few hours until the nurse comes in again. "Dayroom time sweetheart" Nurse Agony croons. "Go out with the others."
.
You don't move. You sit on the edge of your bed and stare at your feet. You can't go out, you're not a part of the herd. You don't want to be, it gives you headaches to be near too many people. Nurse Agony sighs. "Come on, I'll escort you." He grabs your arm and drags you into your wheelchair to push you out of the room.
You walk out with him and a few others, you sit together in the day room.
One of the patients that talks to you sometimes, Shiho, sits next to you. "So? What's going on with you?" he asks.
You shrug. "I'm not allowed to talk about it."
"You're a newbie, you should talk to me, I was here when they brought you in."
You shrug again at his pressing into the matter as you work on a puzzle. 1000 pieces, of singing kittens.
“Maybe one day Shiho, now leave me be” You ignore him and return to your puzzle.
The rest of the night, day? Is quiet after that.
