Jillian looked away and gnashed her teeth. Jackson Reeve was hers; she wanted him more than anything. The sickness she felt to the pit of her stomach had her quivering. 

But she chose to remain hidden behind the curtains. Rhiannon would not appreciate any kind of interruption, and there could be worse consequences than just the redhead’s ire.

 But then why was she enduring this? What madness drove her to play this ridiculous game? This vulgar sport of emotional upheaval.

Jillian closed her eyes and leaned back. She couldn’t bring herself to witness any more of this debauchery. A tear trickled down her flushed cheek.
