"Grandma! I'm here!" Rosa said quite loudly but kindly. She waited. And waited. And waited. But there was no answer. 'She's probably sleeping' Rosa thought to herself. She knocked. No answer. 'definitely sleeping' she thought to herself once again. So, she dropped the basket on the windowsill of Grandma Mary's lovely little cottage and strode innocently home.
"Rosaaaaa!!" said a little boy, running up to her excitedly. His name was Chinu. Chinu Shiki. Chinu has messy thick brown hair. Shabby clothes and fair skin but got dirty most of the time. He was Rosa's friend. Which...Mr and Mrs Fenisia didn't like him much because he was a 'forest boy', a 'Wolf caller', a 'tattletale'. He'd always get hurt, and call wolves just to scare people. Rosa was probably the only one who would love to be friends with him.
"Chinu! Haven't seen you in a while" she said politely, "causing more trouble I suppose?"
"I wouldn't say trouble..." He snickered, "So what's up with the family, eh? Still, think I'm a forest boy who just roams around doing absolutely nonsense?"
"Of course they do! That's what you're doing half the time" She cracked a giggle.
"Whatever! Enough chit-chat, let's get you home before the wolves come out, it's almost dark!"
If you are wondering, the wolves are a no-good group of monsters. They take the form of wolves most of the time and they mostly come out at night. Or dark times, abandoned places, dirty spots, or anywhere actually if you're unfortunate enough! They are very dangerous so people cower against them. So they set up different hiding zones. But you have to pay to enter them or way more payment if you want your personal hiding zone. Anyways...
Rosa noticed something. Where does Chinu hide when it is time to hide?....
