Carefully I climb up the rusty, unknown stairs to the attic. Upon entering, I survey the old room filled with cobwebs until I feel an unexpected pull. The mirror seems to be calling out to me. Turning around hastily, I am shocked to see it glowing brighter than I can ever remember.
The strange presences once again beckons me, but this time my mother is not here to prevent my fingers from reaching out towards the mirror. As soon as I touch the mirror that has been pleading me to do so, the once dark room transforms, glowing with a beautiful color before abruptly pulling me in.
In a panic, I turn around, only to find the strange man from before. I scream, desperately begging to be released, but all he does is laugh. The laughter carries a sinister power that freezes me in place. My screams echo as he nonchalantly turns around and walks away, leaving me alone in the mirror of the rusty attic.
