Update 1/12/2018: Looking back, this comic has a bit of a subjective/assumptive view on gentrification, that I would not post today. It was based on the opinion of a Puerto Rican American / native New Yorker friend from over a decade ago, whose neighborhood was gentrified. To my surprise, he expressed relief from his block not being as dangerous as a result. I took that as permission to make this comic, but now realize it is not my place nor territory to speak on this topic from his firsthand experience. I apologize if you find this offensive.
