The palace shook as Queen Monarch heard buzzing noises. “Hivewings? What do they want?” She stood up and walked to the door. Multiple hivewings landed in the entryway. “Hello?” She asked. “Where’s Queen Was-” “Give up your throne or your tribe will die.” The hivewings said in unison. “What? What sort of magic is this?” Monarch backed up. The hivewings got closer, growling. “Give me the crown.” They said. “N…No! I am Queen Monarch of the Silkwings. You cannot-” “NOW. The book of Clearsight says so.” They demanded. Monarch paused. The book of Clearsight always came true. She had to obey it, or else risk something bad happening to her tribe.Monarch handed her crown to the hivewings, and backed up further. Many Silkwings gasped. “Who’s our queen now?” A silkwing asked. “Queen Wasp.” The hivewings smirked, and they flew away, leaving a note on the ground. “That was.. Scary.” another silkwing said, as she picked up the note. The front read: “Give to Queen Zelkova of the Leafwings.” She looked out the window. “I hope this was the right decision.” She turned to a greenish yellow silkwing. "You. Bring this to queen Zelkova. Tell her that the hivewings are coming for her kingdom."
Prologue! This novel is semi-canon, because i changed some things, like some of the silkwings will decide to fight back... But that's later on. I hope you enjoyed this!
