The flower stood there more confused than ever.
“You’re the first person to actually explain anything to me but I’m still lost” he groaned
“Well, you’re the one that’s talking to a reflection in the water. I’m just answering what I can.” The butterfly replied.
They were right, flower was currently looking over a bridge he found in the woods while looking for a quiet spot from all this mess.
The water was clear, shining the reflection from the moon and a figure that’s not his.
They had long hair and really the only creature that looked similar to him. Everyone else was either talking animals or elves and human.
“Still, everyone keeps speaking in riddles or that I…”
Flower went quiet.
“How are you in the water?”
“Magic.” The butterfly shrugged “I know you’re the exception but before you ask anything relating to me, I forget my past life like everyone else.”
The flower looked lost.
“So the whole...mismatched memories and such was just….previous reincarnations of this place?” Flower asked
Butterfly nodded “I mean this should be the last time.”
“What about the wish in the future?”
“…” Butterfly smiled again
“…” Flower stared back
“I’m just messing with you, I may have forgotten everything but all I do remember is the wish granted in the future. It makes as much sense as me to you.” Butterfly continued.
Flower sighed
“Yeah this is still not clicking. Kinda the whole reason why I ran off from the others.”
“Then yell into a pool of water? Alright but, I’m not sure if I can answer everything.” Butterfly huffed.
