Poignant ending...
It feels wrong to leave a comment now without rereading the entire series at least once beforehand. Seeing Donnie finally making his choices alone, uninfluenced by Libby or AJ, whether for better or worse, was a lovely way to give a big middle finger to all of his demons throughout the series.
I only fear that AJ will go down a far more destructive path if Donnie really won't be able to change her for the better, but in any case, it's good that he now has the will to cut her out of his life so she doesn't drag him down with her.
Congratulations on finishing! The whole comic had the vibe of a nostalgic early 2000's cartoon.
Do you have any plans to make any more additions to this series (spin offs, epilogues) or is this truly the end?
Donnie is a psychopathic kid who's been trying to escape his destructive downfall. Having to choose whether to keep trying to better himself, or take the easy way out and go full-on violent on his country's twisted, and backwards people. For now, he's taking advice from different entities, whether it's his plush toy Libby, his psychotic neighbor AJ, or a masked 'dream' figure known as The Masked Stalkee.
END STRIP: Immortal brain gerbil Jerry is an escaped lab experiment wandering the sands of the Sahara desert; looking for the brains of idiots to either feed on, or make smart again.
MAIN CHARACTERS: Donnie, AJ, Libby, The Masked Stalkee, Lucy, Bobby.
