When my heat broke, I woke in a nest, in someone else's bed… I could hardly remember anything due to my omega’s wants and needs. It was apparent that I had gone through whoever’s closet and robbed them of all of their clothes that smelled like them…
Had I let someone take advantage of me?
I couldn’t remember much of what had happened the day I had gone into heat. I just remember going to work that day, and then– Nothing… My omega had taken over, or I was in a stupid drunken haze to the point I couldn’t remember much of anything that day.
The lack of satisfaction had given me the relief I at least needed to sit up in bed. It meant whoever it was that took me home didn’t breed me, probably much to my omega’s dismay.
I ran a hand through my greasy hair and sighed, finally taking in all of my surroundings. The room I was in was large with vaulted ceilings that I only saw a few times in my life inside a home. Mainly when a rich alpha would take me back to their house to fuck me senseless, or in some cases, a weak unmemorable performance. The walls were painted a light grey, and the room had a more modern feel to it. The bed was huge, larger than the average king-sized mattress, and it was covered in a soft plush navy blue duvet under the clothes.
My eyes wandered around the room, trying to find any clues on whose house it was, or well, apartment? Penthouse? I could see the entire city from the window. Nothing, not even a picture, could indicate who this mystery hero was. I could only imagine the restraint an alpha would have to bring an omega in heat to their home unattended would be nothing but a pain in the ass.
I moved some of the clothes around on the bed to get off and try to locate where the bathroom was. After opening a few doors, one that led to the rest of the house, the other being the closet that I had robbed of its clothes sometime during my heat. The final door was the master ensuite bathroom. I flicked on the lights, cringing at the bright lights, not used to them. Despite being high in the building, the room was still dark.
I didn’t care that much about invading another person's space because, one, I needed to take a piss, and nothing could stop that. Two, I had gone through a full heat for the first time in a long time. Not only was I coated in sweat, but I was coated in dried cum and slick. I desperately needed a shower.
Once I was done with my shower, I somehow managed to find the clothes I had come here in. My uniform for the bar… I put them on, even though my body screamed at the thought due to being in post-heat. My muscles were sore, and my ass was sore. I just wanted to crawl back into the nest that I had made and sleep there for a while.
But I knew that wasn’t something I could do; I had to go home, and I needed to get back to work. I could imagine that Sherry and Xari were worried. I patted my pockets, trying to locate my phone. When I didn’t find it in my pants, I began to look in the pile of clothes on the bed, finally finding it under a pair of the alphas underwear… Where my face had been.
I closed my eyes and shook my head. I was a horny bastard, but my omega, he was a creepy horny bastard.
I looked at the messages on my phone, and both Xari and Sherry texted me, asking me to call them when I was ready to return to work. There were a few spam messages, but the one that mattered the most was from my landlord. The message read that he would be kicking me out if I didn’t pay him rent.
I furrowed my brows and looked at the date. It was a week past due for rent. Knowing my landlord, he wasn’t playing either. I didn’t have an actual agreement with him because I was a single omega with no alphas in my life other than my bosses. But since I offered him money, I paid it on time. He didn’t care. I usually didn’t need extensions, either. I knew his message was no idle threat, though. He could find another omega in distress and fuck them over, too, because it was hard for single omegas to even find a place without an alpha cosigner.
I didn’t even know if I had enough money since I had missed so many days… I mean… I could swing it if I slept with more than two guys a night for a week.
I cringed at the thought. I usually only slept with alphas when I was in the mood. But I needed to do what I had to survive… Even if it was whoreing myself out, like a grade-A slut.
I looked through my recent calls; my last call was to Alistair… I looked around the room again and realized I had seen some of the clothes on the bed. He had taken me to his house? Had he… Had he taken advantage of me? Then left? I didn’t smell his stench other than the looming scent of it being his home. But it didn’t smell as strong as if he hadn’t been here in a few days…
I furrowed my brows in frustration, wondering how I even ended up here. I closed my eyes, wishing that my memory would come back. I hated that my heat would erase everything that happened from start to finish.
When I stepped out of the bedroom, into the hallway, and into the main living space, there was a large picture over the fireplace, and two people were in the painting. One of them was evident. It was the alpha I disliked because of his disruption of my peace. The other man looked older, almost resembling the alpha with certain features, the most notable being their yellow eyes. Maybe it was his father?
I didn’t know, nor did I care. I groaned when I heard my phone go off with the tone I had put under Alistair's number to know the pain in my ass was trying to contact me so I could ignore him. But, obviously, I was in his space, which he probably wanted me out of by now. I let out a long sigh and picked up the phone.
“Hello,” I said into the phone.
“Ah, the mouse finally lives and breathes.” His sly voice said over the phone.
My grip tightened on the phone, and I gritted my teeth in frustration. “I’m leaving. Don’t worry; I’m not going to steal any of your shit.” I ran a hand through my hair, getting stressed.
“Oh, you don’t have to worry. Take your time. I just wanted to see if you were still in heat. The omega that had been coming by and ensuring you were fed well while in heat said you should no longer be in heat by the morning. I guess he was right.” He hummed on the other end. “Would you like me to come and take you home, little mouse?”
I furrowed my brows and scrunched up my nose. “You’re lucky I’m even inside your home right now. Aren’t you getting a bit big for your britches right now?” I snarkily replied.
“C’mon now, little mouse, do you not know what happened?” He sounded a bit interested in what I had to say.
“I don’t remember much when I go into heat,” I admitted, for some reason. My heart jumped into my throat, and I didn’t even know what to tell him at the moment. I was frustrated because he saw me in one of my most vulnerable moments. “Honestly, I’m surprised I’ve made it this long without an unwanted child.”
“Hmm.” He hummed again in amusement. “Well, so you’re saying you didn’t mean to kiss me?”
I gripped my phone tightly and furrowed my brows.
I did what?
With him?
“I was in heat,” I responded. “I didn’t know what I was doing. My omega was controlling me.” I grit my teeth together.
“I asked you if you would please stay in my place versus the little hovel you live in. That place is so dangerous. It’s too close to the entrance and on the bottom floor. Any alpha could have walked into that door and done something awful to you.” He responded. “Any good alpha would have done what I did.”
“I’m an omega, I was lucky I even found that place.” I swallowed. “Did you–” I didn’t even want to ask. I closed my eyes and let out a breath of air. “Did you do anything with me?”
“I would never dream of it, little mouse.” He replied, clearing his throat. “I promise you I didn’t. I almost broke, though, when you begged me behind my door. You sounded like you were in so much pain.”
My heart beat quickly for a few moments. “What do you want from me in return.”
“Nothing, just the sense that you were okay. I didn’t want anything bad to happen to you. Your Sherry and Xari’s employee, I’ve been friends with them for a long time. Xari since childhood, and Sherry when I oversaw the construction of her shop.” I frowned at that. Unsure why it hurt to hear that. Did they ask him to overlook me? Did I worry them that much? Did Xari even know Sherry? We’re in such a large city that they’d only know each other if a miracle happened.
“Oh,” I replied quietly. I waited a few seconds before continuing, swallowing my pride. “Anyways, I’ll find my way home. Thank you.” I replied.
“Well, I’m outside the building. D’ya remember what my car looks like? I’m in the valet lane right now. I’ll take you home.” I bit down on my bottom lip and took another deep breath.
“I’ll be down in a minute,” I replied.
