KANG DAE

I think the date was a success, the food was great from start to finish and I managed to learn more about Rainbow, I also got the chance to tell him about my past and some other things, I can’t reveal some details of my life with him but I can tell him some things. I could tell how happy he was as we walked back to our apartment building, he was holding onto my arm while his face was decorated with a big grin, a slight blush on one of his cheeks. Having him so close to me made me feel complete and I didn’t want this night to end but sadly minutes later we arrived at the building, then into the elevator, and at last to Rainbow’s apartment door. 

“Thanks for everything tonight, Kang Dae.” Rainbow smiled at me breaking the silence standing in front of me and with his back to the apartment door. “I had a great time.”

“I’m glad you liked it, it was a great time for me too,” I said smiling and looking into his eyes. We stood there for a moment, looking at each other and time was running, it was getting late and I didn’t want to keep him for long. “I’ll see you another day.” I moved and then I felt his hand grabbing my forearm.

“Wait! Would you…like to come in?” He shyly said looking into my eyes, his face had turned red and he was biting his bottom lip.

“Sure. I would like that.” I smiled and walked back, Rainbow opened the door and stepped away so I could get in, and then after we were both inside he closed the door behind him.

“Come in, take a seat on the sofa. Would you like some beer? I also have a bottle of Soju.” Rainbow broke the silence, I walked to the sofa making myself comfortable in it.

“Beer is fine.” I smiled and followed his movement, Rainbow walked to the refrigerator and took out two cans of beer, and came back, sitting next to me on the sofa.

“Here you go.” He offered me the beer can and I took it, opened it, and then had a sip of the liquid; cold beer is nice, it refreshes you a lot. 

“So…what now?” I asked Rainbow, he took a large sip of his beer and then looked me in the eye.

“I’ve talked about my relationships but I’m yet to hear about yours…Have you dated many people before me?” 

“If you are asking if I’m a virgin then I’m not, I’ve been with people before.” He lowered his head biting his lip. “But I’ve never actually dated like dated anyone, you are the first one.”

“I am?” He raised his head again, looking at me with shocked eyes.

“Yes, I’ve never had anyone that I wanted to date as bad as I had with you,” I confessed and he blushed once again.

“Oh…” That’s all he said, the room got quiet after that. 

Rainbow looked back down to his beer can and I drank more of mine finishing it, I placed the can on the center table in front of the sofa. I looked back at Rainbow, he drank the rest of his beer and placed the can next to mine, our eyes met and he came closer to me. 

“I want to kiss you, Kang Dae.” Rainbow’s confession took me by surprise. Of course, I want to kiss him too, but it was just our first date. Maybe second, who knows? I don’t know if the dinner from last time counts as one.

“Are you sure? It’s just our first date. Maybe we should wait for the sec—” 

“I don’t care about that. Just kiss me.” Rainbow interrupted me and moved closer to me. His gaze fixed on me, I noticed his eyes were glowing. Odd. Rainbow closed his eyes and pursed his lips, waiting for me to do it.

‘Fuck it.’

I leaned in closer to him and joined our lips in a soft kiss. Oh God… I should have done this sooner, Rainbow’s lips fit perfectly in mine, his lips were soft, juicy, and warm; they could turn into an addiction. The omega turned the kiss into a more needy and passionate one, I felt him move on the sofa and then I felt something heavy on my lap, something big and soft. I broke the kiss apart to take some air, I opened my eyes and noticed how Rainbow had sat on my lap, he opened his eyes looking at me, blushing and his lips turned into a red shade from our previous action; they were calling me to kiss them.

“Kiss me more,” Rainbow ordered, the glow in his eyes had disappeared; he is no normal omega, maybe he is not human... I shook my head,  ignoring my recent discovery, I didn’t waste any more time and fulfilled his wishes, joining our lips again into a passionate kiss. I placed my hands on his hips, caressing them, Rainbow shivered and slightly moved his hips, my now alive boner being caressed by those big pillows Rainbow carried as his butt. This could get risky, but that’s a problem for future Kang Dae.

Ring ring!

My phone’s ringtone interrupted us, Rainbow got startled and after giving me one last peck on the lips he moved away.

“You should pick it up, maybe it’s important.” He said blushing, sitting back on the sofa next to me.

I sighed and took out my phone, it was a call from Loui. Why is he calling me on my day off? I picked up the call.

“Hello, Loui,” I said I could hear a lot of noise in the background coming from his side.

“Kang Dae, hey. Sorry to call you on your day off but you need to come to the station right now.” 

“Why?” I asked confused, my eyebrows frowning.

“It’s an emergency, someone found a body in the woods,” Loui whispered into his phone and then said something I couldn’t understand, maybe it was for the people that were with him, probably his wife and kids. But what? A body? A murder in Bramville? This is new and unexpected.

“Okay, I’ll be there in 5 minutes,” I said and hung up, Rainbow was looking at me with curious eyes. “Sorry Rainbow, I have to go to the station now.”

“Oh, did something bad happen?” Rainbow asked, worried and confused.

“I’ll tell you about it later, thanks for today.” I smiled softly and went to the door.

“Wait!” He came running to me, stopping me before I could get out. Rainbow got on his tippy toes and left a soft peck on my cheek. “Good luck at work, Officer Kim.” He gave me a soft smile.

“Thank you, mister Lowell.”
