(Logan P.O.V)

Logan and Jay had just finished throwing the last few punches. Both were shirtless and sweat rolled down their bodies.

“Dobe, will you shut up? Just accept the fact I won already.”

“No way! You cheated teme!”

“How can I cheat in sparring dobe?”

“Uhhhh...” Logan rolled his eyes.

“So, I see you two are at it as always?” Jay and Logan turned to three other males. A man with his hair up in a spikey ponytail and another man with long brown hair approached them.

“Hn.”

“Teme only won because he was amped up on his hormones! Hey Michel, Dustin, and Zane! Whoa, where are Vanessa and Jessica? You guys never let them outta your sight!” Michel walked over to the two.

“Jessica wanted to meet your brides.”

“Yea and Vanessa wanted to go as well, troublesome woman.” Dustin and Michel were Logan and Jay’s closest friends.

“So, Ellwood, I heard you mate a human. You know the risks..” Logan glared at Michel.

“I know. But she’s my mate, I don’t care. You’re one to talk Hyuuga. Jessica and Vanessa were also human. You and Dustin should know how I feel.” Michel raised his hands in defense.

“I know. You’re planning to turn her on the night of the red moon?” Logan gave him a ‘duh’ look. “Be careful. The transformation isn’t easy...” Logan nodded. The experience would be excruciating for a human. The pain is different for each individual, but all that depends on the vampire. If the vampire is strong, powerful, and pureblood, the pain is unbearable, even deadly. Erika was small and fragile. But Jessica and Vanessa had survived the transformation, so there was no doubt in his mind Erika would too.

If she stayed human, he could lose her. The thought of her death was something he couldn’t bear. He loved her too much to let her go. If an immortal male lost his mate, he’d go insane and try killing himself. A mated male without his female was a death sentence. Even now that he wasn’t fully mated to Erika, he still needed her. His connection to her was that strong already. Who knows how he’d become after fully claiming her? Logan turned his attention elsewhere. Erika’s scent was in the air, along with the other girls. The four males sprinted to their women.

(Third p.O.V)

Erika and Synthai were left alone. They talked for what seemed like hours. Erika was relieved to know that Jay was a good man and from what Synthai Said, was a caring and loving person. She seemed to love him.

“Synthia-chan, do you love Jay?” Synthia looked down.

“I know it’s odd to love someone you’ve only just met, but I feel as though I have this connection to him that I can’t explain. He makes me feel safe Erika. He looks at me with eyes that see me for more than what I am. He doesn’t care that I was a slave. How can I not love him?” Her friend was at a loss for words. Synthia had just spoken about her feelings for this boy, and she did it without stuttering!

“Synthia...” Erika smiled at her friend. She completely understood how Synthai felt. Logan had expressed his love for her already and made her feel more than just a lowly human. She went up to her friend and held her hand.

“Synthia, I’m just glad that you found someone who loves you and treats you right. I know that Jay will do everything to make you happy.” Synthia stared at her best friend.

“S-so, you approve of Jay-Kun?” Erika laughed.

“Of course!” Both girls laughed and smiled. They stopped as they heard a knock on the door.

“Huh. I thought they would take a bit longer for sparring.” Erika walked to the door, but instead of seeing Logan, two beautiful women were standing before her. A beautiful tall pale blond with bright baby blues smiled at Erika and a gorgeous brunette with two buns on her head smiled just as brightly.

“Can I help you,” asked Erika. The blond gasped and smiled brightly. Erika took both girls. They were gorgeous. Flawless. Perfect.

“I’m sorry for interrupting, but I wanted to meet my new sisters! My name is Vanessa, and the girl beside me is Jesica, and next to her is Autumn” Synthai walked behind Erika.

“You wanted to meet...us? Sisters?” Erika was confused.

Erika and Synthai had bonded somewhat with Jessica and Vanessa. She felt comfortable with them. There was no doubt in her mind that they would become close in no time. Vanessa wanted to go outside for air, insisting the lounge was too stuffy.

“Come on Vanessa, you just wanna go to Dustin already,” teased Jessica.

“Oh, so what! I love my dusty! He’s my man after all!” Jessica sighed.

“Yea, but you nag the poor man to death.” Vanessa made a face at her. She laughed as they walked outside.

“How much do you wanna bet they’ll be running towards us in 3...2...1...” On cue, all four males appeared, each heading towards their mate. Logan reached her and looked at her. He was sweating and panting. She didn’t fail to notice his finely sculpted torso. She blushed a thousand shades of red. Logan smirked and hugged her from behind.

“Aww look at the teme! All cuddly and mushy!” Logan threw the finger at Jay. “Hey!”

“Oh stop it you two! Erika, Synthai I’d like you to meet Dustin Nara, my mate,” Said Vanessa happily. Erika nodded and waved seeing as how Logan didn’t seem like he was letting go anytime soon.

“And this is Michel Hyuuga, my mate.” Erika looked at Jessica who was being held by a large towering male.

“It’s nice to meet you Erika-san.” Erika nodded in his direction. Feeling everybody’s stares were making me uncomfortable. She

hugged Logan tighter. He smirked and kissed the top of her head.

“Well, it’s getting late, but I hope we can all hang out soon, right,” said Vanessa. Erika smiled and nodded.

“Right.”

Synthia said her goodbyes to Erika and Logan. Jay grinned and gave Erika a crushing hug. Logan growled.

“Haha! See ya later Erika-chan! Teme! And oh hey! No making babies yet! Haha!” Erika smiled and Logan shook his head in annoyance.

“Why am I friends with such an idiot?” Erika laughed and turned to face him.

“Thanks again Logan, for today.” He smiled and caressed her face.

“Anything to make you happy love.”
