Soul magic did do trick.
When in doubt just stare right into peoples souls and leave. Works almost every time.
Sorry for the lots of scheduled episodes btw, I know they can be annoying because they're at the top and you need to scroll past them but it's really only because I'm on vacation soon. And I don't trust my future self enough to remember updating right after I'm back :'D

(I noticed that it blended far to well into all the others in the fantasy genre overview, so I tried something with much more contrast to really make it pop.)
