Read A New Player Count :: Chapter 04

"You know this kid?!" Zayana looked at Wren, still pointing the blaster at Ryzuil. "Yeah... Well, kind of... It's Ryzuil.." They all turned to look at Wren. "What?" Zayana puts her blaster back into her backpack bar. "You told him!?" Wren, nervous, laughed. "Well, kinda... He pulled me out of the crowd and gave me this disguise." Ryzuil tries not to laugh. "Yeah... I did, and you still haven't taken it off." Wren just realized she didn't and blushed a little as she opened the backpack bar, got the tool to change her appearance, and changed into her regular outfit and hair.

Wren is embarrassed and tries to change the topic. "Anyways... Why are you here?" Zayana and Laith start bursting out laughing. "What's wrong?" Wren looks at them. "Nothing...I love seeing you try not to blush." Wren walks over to them and punches Zayana, and with the special equipment she has, she feels it. "Hey!" Zayana yelled at Wren. "Let's get back to business." Ryzuil, in the real world, is blushing," Yeah, guys, let's try to figure this out." They all head back to the beanbags, sit down, and discuss what the clue could lead to.

"What if hidden at the heart could be where the first key is?" Zayana said. "Yeah, We know that already Zayana. Stop acting dumb." Zayana looked at her. "Well, I didn't hear you say it." Wren sighs as she takes the clue back out of her backpack and stares at it to get an idea of what it could be.

"Hidden at heart... The library!" Wren shouted. "Huh?" They all look at her. "Guys, we need to go to the Library. That's where we will find the last clue!" Ryzuil looks at Wren and smiles. "I'll meet you guys there. We need to hurry." She said as she jolted up from her chair and ran out the door towards the library.

"More running!?" Zayana exclaimed as she exited her chair and ran out the door after Wren. Ryzuil laughs. "Wren is so much like the game developer." He jumped up and started to run after her.

Wren arrived at the library and ran in, forgetting she had the clue in her hand. "Herm, what now?" A librarian walks over. "Hello, welcome to the library of all things metaver--." She notices the clue in Wren's hand. "Come with me quickly. I know what you are looking for." The librarian grabs Wren's wrist and leads her to a room with a hall of the game developer's diaries. " This is the room with all his diaries and where you will find what you're looking for." The librarian stands to the side and keeps an eye on Wren.

The rest had run into the library and looked for Wren. "Wren, where the heck are you!?" Ryzuil said while looking for her. The librarian who helped her walked over."Come with me" Ryzuil followed the librarian to where Wren was.

Ryzuil walked into the room and over to Wren." There you are." Wren turned around. "I think I figured it out.." She turned to look at the librarian. "Can you show me the diaries of him and Vera?"
