Cracking open one of my eyes sometime later, I was looking up at Caio’s face and he was intently watching the TV, one of his hands tangled in my hair. He was flexing his hand open and closed. The feeling of his fingertips on my scalp was very relaxing.
He paused his massage on my head and I sighed. He looked down and seemed surprised to see me looking up at him.
“Don’t stop, that is very pleasing on my scalp.” I muttered.
“I thought you were still sleeping.” Caio whispered.
“Keep massaging my head, and I’ll go back to sleep. Fuck, that was so relaxing.”
His fingers started moving again, and I closed my eyes, enjoying the feeling immensely. I wished he would use both hands, but that was complicated with the way we were on the couch. He stopped again and spoke.
“You should head to bed, Matteo.”
“No. Keep massaging.”
He heard me, but didn’t move his fingers on my scalp. Sitting up, I scooted all the way into his lap, his hand falling out of my hair. I set my head on his shoulder and spoke again.
“Massage.”
Caio surprised me when he stood up and took me with him right off the couch. I knew I was light, but not that fucking light. Caio started walking towards the spare bedroom, and I panicked. I remembered the evidence of my self pleasure was laying there right out in the open.
“Caio! Wait!”
“What Matteo?”
“I want to sleep in your bed!”
He came to a complete stop, and I thought he was going to drop me.
“Matteo—--”
“The sun is far too bright in the spare room and I don’t like it. It makes sleeping really hard.” I said, lying through my teeth and he sighed, but turned around. He took me to his room and dropped me on his bed. His face told me he knew something was up, but he didn’t ask, and I wasn’t going to tell him anything.
He didn’t need to know.
He left the room, and I just sat there. I heard him flicking things off in the living room before he joined me in his room. He lowered the temperature in the room and it was lovely. He waited until I was lying on one half of the bed, before he turned the light off, but not before jamming a pillow between us, as if he hadn’t just been touchy with me on the couch.
Closing my eyes, I laid on the top of the blankets, not wanting to make Caio anymore uncomfortable with me. Closing my eyes, I was almost asleep when I felt Caio yank the blankets.
“Matteo, are you on top of the fucking blankets?”
“Mmm.” I muttered, closing my eyes again.
“Get under the fucking blankets.” He bitched.
I struggled to get under them, but I did. Closing my eyes, flipped over and snuggled into the separating pillow that smelled heavily of Caio. Caio tossed and turned until he finally got comfortable, too. I completely passed out then.
Moving closer to Caio at some point in the night, I woke up against him, my broken foot tossed over both his legs. I had completely tucked one of my hands up the hem of his t-shirt and rested it on his chest.
Slowly, the more I woke up, the more I worried if Caio woke up he was going to be unhappy with this. Attempting to move away from Caio, he cleared his throat, and I froze.
“It’s still early. Go back to sleep.”
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you.”
“You didn’t.”
I tried to move again, and Caio sighed.
“Just relax, there’s no point moving. You will just move back against me.”
“Sorry.”
I moved my hand from his shirt and tried to scoot back again, and he let me. I placed the pillow between us to respect the space that he wanted to begin with. Closing my eyes, I passed out pretty quickly again.
I woke up when I felt Caio moving, opening a single eye. He was pulling my hand out of his shirt again, and I was confused.
“Sorry.” I mumbled and backed off away from Caio. He got out of the bed and headed to the bathroom, returning as I was trying to get up.
“Lay back down, it’s only eight am, you still have time to sleep.”
“I’ll head back to the spare room—---”
“Just lay the hell down, Matteo.” His voice had an edge of anger to it, and I did as he said. He got back in the bed and turned his back to me, and once again, I placed the pillow between us. I knew I moved in my sleep, but I didn’t begin to understand why I kept going back to smash myself against Caio.
I was sure it wouldn’t happen again. But I was wrong.
Opening my eyes, I pressed my face into Caio’s back and my arm was around his chest. His scent was deep and flooded into my nose and I loved it, but at the same time, I waited for Caio to force me out of his bed. But he didn’t. Moving my arm, I rolled away from Caio, laying on my stomach, and I felt him move as well. He moved the pillow in the way and I heard him click his tongue.
He replaced the pillow with the one from under his head. It smelled strongly of him and was still warm. He got out of the bed, fixed the blankets before he left the room. I hadn’t actually intended to go back to sleep, but I did.
When I woke up later, Caio was in the wing. I could hear him on the phone. I stretched out and debated just snuggling back into the bed, but I had to pee. Slipping out of the bed, I stood up on the foot with no crutches and hummed, pleased that I could stand on it. Carefully, I hobbled to the bathroom, doing my business and heading to the spare room.
“Matteo! You shouldn’t be walking on that!”
I froze, lifting the foot off the ground and turned my head. Caio was in the office, in a shirt and sweatpants, the shirt far too tight around his torso, that I could see his muscles flex when he stood up.
“Oops?”
Caio grabbed me the pair of crutches, and I wrinkled my nose at him, putting my foot back on the floor.
“Matteo, I will tell your brother you’re walking—--”
“You wouldn’t dare!” I hissed.
“I would. Matter of fact, I will—--”
“You no good, toe licking master pleasing mutt!” I yelled, and that got his attention. He turned away from the office, but not before telling whoever was on speaker phone that he would get back to them in a moment.
Slipping one crutch under my arm, I used it to get closer to the spare room, keeping my free hand up and extended out.
“Now Caio, there is no need to get testy.”
“Why are you running, Matteo? Perhaps, are you scared of this mutt?”
“Go back to your phone call. I’m sure it’s important.”
“Your brother and Lev can wait. They know what I’m dealing with.”
I was sure I paled then. I was just hoping that Lev and Alessio both missed the part where I called Caio a ‘toe licking master pleasing mutt’.
“You look a little pale there, Matteo.” Caio chuckled.
“I don’t know what you mean.” I muttered.
Caio turned to head back to the office.
“Caio?”
He turned back around, and I shot him my middle finger. He just shook his head and went back to the office. I heard him sit back down and he went back to working. It was amusing that even though we were all in the same building; he was using his office and probably computer to talk to Alessio and Lev. They were just five minutes away.
Getting changed into different sweatpants and cleaning up the evidence of my pleasure, I dug around through my stuff and groaned. I didn’t have any clean shirts, and the only reason I had clean boxers and sweatpants was because Caio washed a few pairs while doing his own laundry.
Leaving behind the crutch, I tested my luck. Walking to the office, Caio was doing paperwork, and I spoke.
“Hey, do you have a shirt I can borrow? I don’t have any clean.”
He frowned. Looking for the crutches.
“I do. Again, you shouldn’t be walking on that.”
“Alessio gives me back my walking boot and I won’t have an issue.”
“He told you that you needed to sit down and rest, and to use the crutches.” Caio said, crossing his arms.
“I just need a shirt, not a full speech about what my brother said, or demanded.” I groaned.
Caio stood up, and I watched his muscles flex again, and I wanted to touch him. Tucking my hands in my sweatpants pockets. I backed up carefully, to give Caio the space he needed to leave the room. He grabbed the spare crutch and passed it to me. I tucked it under my arm, unhappy about it biting into my skin and being terribly uncomfortable.
I followed Caio into his bedroom and sat down on the bed. Still unmade and a mess. Caio passed me a shirt, and I pulled it on.
“Thanks.”
“You’re welcome. If you take your laundry to the washer, I can wash it with mine.”
I nodded before standing up. I tried to abandon the crutch there and walk away, but Caio saw through that, and passed me the crutch. Annoyed, I stuffed it under my arm and left his room first. Taking up residence on the couch and flicking on the TV.
