Afternoon lighting illuminated the school grounds, bouncing a sunburst orange light off of the clean windows and water resting in the stone fountain. It was getting close to that season when the days were shorter and darkness crept in to lull the world into a dark sleep. Tyler was walking along with his strangely formed crew of Wren the eccentric storyteller, Skye the 'boy next door', and the newly acquired red-haired girl. She followed the group as they headed onwards through the school's courtyard towards building 4, otherwise known as the sighting of what could be the first ghost Tyler has actually experienced. Tyler's face sat sour for the majority of the walk, trying to decide whether this is all one elaborate prank or if he should start looking into a psychiatrist. But he had to think to himself, if this was a prank why did someone want him to pass out on the floor? The logic from all corners of explanation in his mind was dried up and all he had left was to just follow the flow they were currently all on, hoping for some potential answers to this shit show.
The ragtag group soon arrived at the classroom. It was rather odd to be there so late in the afternoon when there was no one around. The creamsicle-colored lighting lit up the room, making it almost filter picturesque to the human eye. "Ok, so you've been a student here for how long Eden?" Wren asked the red-haired girl as she looked around the area where Skye took the photo and proceeded to hold up 2 fingers. "Been here for 2 years but took a break this semester due to some things going on." Eden then crouched down to the corner of the door and started feeling around for something. Tyler walked around rather cautiously and rather nervously at that. Being in the room where he had his first day and his first ever black-out faint was surely not doing his mental processing any good. He walked up to Skye who was looking through his camera lens around the room. "What kind of things?" Wren asked again trying to take interest in their new companion. "Not to be rude but I don't think that's any of your business." The rather cold response from Eden made Wren curl back just a bit out of embarrassment and feeling awkward. Tyler looked as Eden ran her fingers along the tile, running smoothly for a bit and then catching some traction in specific spots. "What exactly are you looking for? If it's a ghost or something it wouldn't necessarily be touching the floor and leaving tracks." Eden got up and rubbed her index and middle finger against her thumb and turned to Tyler. "Actually you're not 100% wrong but usually there is some sort of residue depending on what you're dealing with. And fortunately for us, I'm pretty sure that's just dirt." Eden then rubbed her fingers on her ripped black jeans and tidied up her cardigan pulling it down as it was scrunched up from crouching. "Pretty sure isn't 100% sure." Tyler said with a bit of a tremble in his voice. Skye put his camera down and looked at Tyler who was looking rather nervous now. He was so certain he saw something and the evidence in the camera wasn't enough to determine that. Wren then paused for a second. "Hey Skye, was there anyone in the classroom who didn't react when Ty here fell?" Skye shook his head, "Not that I know of. I was too busy rushing to him to make sure his head wasn't bleeding. I thought my flash set off some sort of epileptic reaction and I freaked the fuck out." Tyler sighed and sat in the chair at his desk focusing on that specific spot where he saw the girl. Trying to bring back any sort of memory of it. Nothing was coming back to him.
Tyler then slammed his head against the table out of frustration, he was beyond annoyed. He missed his first day of college, his first chance to make any sort of connection with his photography. That was taken away from him. As he moved his chair back a bit something slid out from under the table, it was a photo from an instant camera. He paused for a second, holding his breath a bit as his eyes widened at the image that was facing up at him. "Holy shit..." Tyler's words escaped his lips as he couldn't believe what he was now seeing, more evidence. Wren, Skye, and Eden all run over to Tyler as he picks up the photograph to reveal a slightly blurry picture of the front door. Warnaby's leg was in view but just behind those brown slacks was poofy hair, a blood-covered t-shirt, and a broken camera. Tyler put the photo on the table and everyone looked at it, each with their own reaction. "Holy... Tyler... what is this?" Skye said running his fingers along the edge of the photo. Eden smiled and pointed at the girl. "This right here is evidence." Just as they got up, footsteps were heard at the door, and shortly after the handle began to wiggle rather violently. Then entered a familiar gym outfit-wearing teacher and two security guards. "You four are in so much damn trouble!"
