So, this is my second Omegaverse book, and I know how confusing it is to figure out how the whole Omegaverse system works, especially because every author writes it with their own rules.
I do a lot of explanation and worldbuilding in my books, but at the same time, it's kind of nice to start with your feet on the ground.
If you want some background on my "Wokemgaverse", I'm going to send you over to the 2 part primer I just added to Free Love... There should be a live link in the author's description below. If you don't see author's notes in the app, turn off Infinity Reading Mode and then you will.
If you are an Omegaverse pro, you can just skip this, because it is a majestic teal deer. (That's eldernet-speak for kinda long... tl;dr... too long, didn't read...)
In this sequel to Free Love, destiny has a sense of humor. Alpha and defense attorney Brent James meets his perfectly imperfect match, Det. Will Adams, a gorgeous (and stubborn) Beta with a strict "no dating Alphas" policy.

Will Adams is a Beta and a Baltimore SVU detective. He refuses to date Alphas (they have enough going for them already, in his opinion), and he’s not very fond of lawyers, either. Particularly not defense attorneys.
New to Baltimore, Brent James, is an Alpha and a defense attorney with the Anastasia Anderson Legal Fund, an organization that aims to protect Omegas and their rights. Easygoing Brent will date whoever catches his eye, including cops and Betas, and as a gorgeous Golden Boy with a good income and a great personality, he has never struggled much with having his interest reciprocated. There is one particular Beta and cop, however, who seems unmoved by Brent’s keen interest in him.
Despite the fact that they are very imperfectly perfect for each other, when their professional paths align, Will and Brent discover a mutual interest that goes well beyond their work.
Free Will is for ages 18+: It contains explicit sexual content, adult language, and occasional discussion of sexual violence related to the protagonists' professions.
As with Free Love, readers can expect a lively and very spicy read that recognizes that sex is best when it's fully consensual and respectful of the minds and bodies of the people having it. You can also expect a LOT of very nerdily researched legal, medical, and general detail woven throughout the story as well as equally nerdy pop culture references. And banter! With jokes! There will be jokes.
Series updates on Mondays and Thursdays at 12 am PST.
