"Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far away."
Proverbs 22:15 NIV.
Although we don't remember much, we all had a certain amount of childhood rebelliousness. Today, we are humble, honest, good people because of the nos, the punishments, the scolding that we never saw as a demonstration of love. But they are the greatest proof of affection.
Ephesians 6:4 GNT
"Parents, do not treat your children in such a way as to make them angry. Instead, raise them with Christian discipline and instruction."
Ignoring, pretending not to notice or supporting your children's mistakes indicates a lack of affection for them. Why? What you don't fix today, life will tomorrow and it won't have even an ounce of love or mercy.
Tell them you love them, especially when they're going through the rough patch of adolescence. Choose a time to put your cell phone aside and enjoy a family moment.
Society is getting to the point where we care more about a screen than a human face. Don't miss out on seeing your kids grow up because of technology, work takes you away from them practically all day long.
So, dedicate it even once a week on Sundays, enjoy the company and meet the people who are always by our side. It's scary how much we don't know and we don't know those we've lived together for years.
We live in the same house, but it's like we're all strangers.
This is due to the fact that we are valuing TV, cell phones and social networks more than our relationships with our loved ones.

Ephesians 6:2-3 NIV.
“Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise— “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”
We are all children, our duty is to respect our parents. Listen to their advice and obey their orders as long as it's not something that goes against the Word of God.
You can and should obey any order from an authority, except when it goes against biblical principles - for example: lying.
In case you are ordered to do something wrong, you are authorized to disobey this bad order. Why? God is the greatest authority in our lives, this goes for anyone, whether father or mother, grandparents, boss, spouse... did any of them order something that the Bible condemns? Do not do it.
If you have to choose between God and someone else, always choose God! He is the one who wakes us up each morning and sustains us each day - giving us health and strength to work.
"The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing."
Psalms 23:1 NIV.
