Zev, who visited the grandmother at least three times a week, was once again on his way to the clearing where he transformed since the incident and little did he know that on this seemingly ordinary day he would have a fateful encounter. Arriving at the edge of the clearing, Zev turned into a human and stretched. He enjoyed the warm sun and the refreshing breeze on his skin and lay down in the soft grass between the many different and sometimes wonderfully fragrant flowers to enjoy the weather a little longer and dozed off... Only a short time later he was awakened by a strange noise. It was an unfamiliar, almost heavenly melody that no bird could sing. Zev opened his eyes and sat up listening. The beautiful, fine and delicate singing came closer and soon Zev could see who this unknown singer was. A young woman in a red velvet cap and matching red cloak hopped along the path toward grandmother's cottage, in Zev's direction, singing happily...
